According to my quick calculus based on those sentence lengths versus the amounts plundered, Gentile should receive 25 years in prison. By this reasoning Madoff got off easy, he should have received close to 1,000 years in prison.

All religions have their share of crooks.
The difference with the cult of SCN is that the cult promises for huge GOBS of money to make you a supernatural type of being, more ethical, more aware, more perceptive, more CAUSE over Matter, Energy, Space and Time.

What codswallop !

Scn makes you ~~
More CAUSE over having *no conscience* whatsoever into being a flagrant thief of other people's life savings.

Noun
codswallop
  1. (Britain, Australia, slang) Senseless talk or writing; nonsense; rubbish.
  2. Synonyms: see Thesaurus:nonsense
Interjection
codswallop
  1. (Britain, slang) Used to express disbelief: nonsense!; rubbish!

David Gentile and "5 other co-defendants..."

Any news yet on who the other 5 are?

Perhaps some more Scientologists?

And on another note.....

It is fantastic to hear....that among all the Fraud and Ripoff....over all the years....that in the top 5, two of them are by Scientologists....

That is just an incredible statistic!

Church of Scientology and Russian Organized crime ! LOL
We have sometimes called the cult a MOB>

Excerpt:

How Brooklyn-born David Gentile rose to the top and was able to run a $1.7 billion Ponzi scheme for four years we still don’t know in complete detail, but connections with the Church of Scientology and Russian organized crime help us understand how he could sustain such high credibility among his Wall Street peers and with the media despite the growing number of whistleblowers and law firms pointing to the contrary.

David Gentile opens an off shore bank account and then "borrows" money from his own bank at high interest rates......the question is did he become MORE criminal after engaging with the cult ? :) :) :)

Or was he an outright crook through and through and the cult of SCN were totally unable to "get his ethics in" and missed the boat even though they pretend they have *TECHNOLOGY* to handle all this (at great cost.) LOLOL

A VERY STABLE SUPER GENIUS!!
Is the Scientology "ecclesiastical" leader's twin sister married to David Gentile's brother? Were Denise and Gerald Gentile working for David Gentile in New Hampshire when they first met? The Daily Mail says this:

"Gerald is Gentile's second husband. They met while Gentile was working at a New Hampshire company owned by a prominent Scientology. They were both married to other people at the time, according to the Times."
