Bruce Bauer has passed

I'm sorry to share that my good friend Bruce Bauer has passed. Bruce held the posts of Qual Sec and cramming officer at the NY org in the 70's and 80's, and for me was one of the few people who remained genuine and friendly in that environment. He had recently been struggling with a form of leukemia. Bruce was always one of the good guys, and among other things a talented musician, who at one point had been quite popular and successful in Japan. His wife Nobue, also a dear friend, would like everyone who knew Bruce that he passed easily with little discomfort. They migrated from the NYC area to the LA area decades ago. I'll always be grateful for our association.
