Once upon a time, "due diligence" was done by visiting an old school LIBRARY and reading books or magazine articles.
Much later, GOOGLE came into being and it was a revelation.
However, countless echelons above the previous two methods of not getting scammed is ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE>
When I see an article or a video these days that even appears to make some wild claim about "supenratural" or "advanced" technology, I don't even spend time reading or watching it without doing a momentary AI search to see if it is a hoax. Instead of "debunking" the article/video after wasting time on it, one can now PRE-bunk it with a few second AI search.
Here's a perfect example. A video claiming that ancient humans had wildly advanced technology that they used to create massive stone architectural structures.
AI Just Analyzed Göbekli Tepe's 12,000-Year-Old Pillars — The Results Are HORRIFYING
Jan 12, 2026
The laser scanners just finished mapping the deepest layers of the world’s first temple, and the results are sending shockwaves through the scientific world. Scientists have spent decades trying to explain how ancient people moved fifty ton rocks up a steep hill without horses or wheels. Now, a 2025 study has revealed tool marks that look more like they were made by high heat than by stone hammers. This site was built eleven thousand, six hundred years ago, yet the symmetry found in the stone enclosures is perfect to the millimeter. This discovery suggests that everything we were told about our ancestors is a flat out lie......
Instead of wasting time watching the video and then doing a deep dive GOOGLE search to find debunking articles or studies, one can simply do an instant Due Diligence search and discover in a few seconds that the video is a complete waste of time. A hoax.
Here is the AI search I did that only took seconds to "pre-bunk". I asked ChatGPT the following:
What Archaeologists and Geologists Actually Say
1. The Pillars Are Carved Limestone
3. No Geological Signs of Heat Treatment
4. Independent Scholarly Research
Why People Might Propose “Heat” Theories
Some alternative documentary or fringe narratives propose heat, seismic activity, or other exotic processes shaping ancient megaliths. These usually fall into one of the following categories:
Misinterpretation of Heat Features
Comet / Impact Theories
Confusion With Other Processes
Why the Heat Claim Doesn’t Hold Up
To date, there is no published scientific research — in geology, archaeology, or materials science — supporting the claim that the Göbekli Tepe pillars were created by heat instead of by human shaping with tools. The mainstream archaeological consensus remains that:

There is a video about the Göbekli Tepe's 12,000-Year-Old Pillars. Haven't seen it yet
but it appears to claim that the massive and perfectly "cut" stone pillars were
formed from intense HEAT rather than from tools. Is there any
scientific or other support for such a conclusion?
Here is the answer that came back a few seconds later.but it appears to claim that the massive and perfectly "cut" stone pillars were
formed from intense HEAT rather than from tools. Is there any
scientific or other support for such a conclusion?
- The massive T-shaped pillars at Göbekli Tepe are made of local limestone that was quarried and shaped by people living there about 11,000–12,000 years ago.
- Archaeological evidence shows that prehistoric people worked the stone with tools — primarily flint blades and picks — to chip and shape the limestone.
- Flint tools and flakes (debitage) associated with the site are abundant, and their style and wear are consistent with stone-tool stonework.
- Scholars and excavators interpret worked stone surfaces and quarry remnants as the result of intentional human shaping, not natural heat processes.
- If the pillars had been formed by intense heat (e.g., as in rock melting or heat fracturing), we’d expect distinct geological signatures such as recrystallization, vitrification, or heat-altered mineral structures. None of these have been reported by researchers studying the site’s geology.
- Current archaeological literature and site reports do not describe any such evidence or thermal alteration of the limestone. The understanding remains that the stone morphology results from mechanical shaping. (Archaeological consensus across excavations and site publications supports this.)
- Peer-reviewed work and site reports focus on quarrying, shaping, transport, and erection of limestone pillars, with techniques consistent with known Neolithic tool behavior.
- Alternative ideas — such as the astronomical alignment theories or symbolic interpretations — garner debate, but none propose heat-forming of stone as a valid mechanism.
Some alternative documentary or fringe narratives propose heat, seismic activity, or other exotic processes shaping ancient megaliths. These usually fall into one of the following categories:
- High-temperature effects do show up in some archaeological contexts (e.g., fired pottery, hearths, burnt clay), but not in unambiguous stone shaping at Göbekli Tepe.
- There are fringe scientific hypotheses linking the period around Göbekli Tepe to climatic events like comet impacts (e.g., Younger Dryas boundary theories), which involve extreme heat at a global scale — but these focus on climate and culture, not megalith shaping.
- In other ancient sites, intense heat from repeated fires has weakened stone surfaces, making them easier to fracture — but that’s a very different process from melting or forming stone with heat alone, and there’s no evidence that this happened at Göbekli Tepe.
To date, there is no published scientific research — in geology, archaeology, or materials science — supporting the claim that the Göbekli Tepe pillars were created by heat instead of by human shaping with tools. The mainstream archaeological consensus remains that:
- The pillars were quarried from local limestone.
- They were worked with stone tools.
- There’s no geochemical or structural evidence for heat-forming processes.
- Human workmanship using flint and other Neolithic tools shaped the pillars.
- Intense heat (natural or artificial) created or shaped the Göbekli Tepe megaliths.
