In fact, white antivaxers have tried to take advantage of minority communities on more than one occasion in the recent past. Remember, it was antivaxers in Minnesota, overwhelmingly white, who spread misinformation that convinced the Somali immigrant community in Hennepin County that vaccines cause autism and led them to refuse vaccination, creating multiple large measles outbreaks. During the political battle over SB 277 in California, the law that eliminated nonmedical “personal belief exemptions” to school vaccine mandates, RFK Jr. teamed up with the Nation of Islam to promote his message to African-American communities. It’s an alliance that continues to this day and now appears to include the Church of Scientology, with which the Nation of Islam is closely allied. After the release of VAXXED, the antivaccine propaganda film disguised as a documentary, Andrew Wakefield, Del Bigtree, and other antivaxers went to Compton to try to recruit African-Americans to the antivaccine movement.

Scientology Clear, Super Power Completion, Cause Resurgence Rundown Completion, and PTS/SP Course Graduate Nation of Islam Sister Nayyirah Tivica Muhammad defends her use of Dianetics in her "Repair of the Black Farrakhan" events and professes her loyalty to the Honorable Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. It appears she is responding to criticism and push back.

Women of Impact appears to be a legitimate organization. Their subheading is "Leaders In Health And Healthcare". They have conferences across America and address other areas such as leadership, equal pay for women and other topics.

It's probably not the first time Scientology or the Nation of Islam has fed "good news" about a member to an organization and had it accepted at face value. Above it's noted that Sister Nayyirah gave a seminar on "The Repair of the Black Family". Who knows how much "impact" she's had. So now she has something else to hang on the wall with her Scientology certs.

The untributes.com site has a section called "Nominate a phenomenal women (sic) for the Women of Impact Awards"

Repair of the Black Family, the organization created by Scientology Clear, Super Power Completion, Cause Resurgence Rundown Completion and PTS/SP Course Graduate Nation of Islam Sister Nayyirah Tivica Muhammad, is presenting a "Friends and Family Return to Africa Trip," July 16 -27, 2020. The trip is to Ghana. The cost is $3895. I do not know if Scientology (including Dianetics) will be disseminated during the trip. I am cross-posting this here only because to my knowledge Repair of the Black Family has disseminated Scientology at all of its other events.

Thanks for posting this. I edited my post above a couple of times since I didn't want to disparage her merely because she's an NOI who practices scientology. That sounds like an interesting and worthwhile adventure.

LGBTQ is a long way from being accepted as "natural and normal" by a lot of people. Probably most people in America have a live and let live attitude. I did a lot of co auditing with a gay guy in the late 1970's. He attributed being gay to "picking up the wrong body type this time around". He was completely comfortable in his sexual identity as far as I could tell.

The psychedelic, anti war, anti establishment mentality of the time had caused many people in the so called Movement to disregard sexual preference as an issue.

On October 12, 2019, James (Jimmy) Smith called the Fort Worth Police Department to make a wellness check or care call on his neighbor, Atatiana Jefferson. As reported nationwide, the responding police officer shot and killed Jefferson in her own home.

During her recent trip to Texas to deliver a "Repair of the Black Family" event, Scientology Clear, Super Power Completion, Cause Resurgence Rundown Completion and PTS/SP Course Graduate Nation of Islam Sister Nayyirah Tivica Muhammad delivered Dianetic Auditing to Smith to try to help alleviate some of the pain he suffered as a result of his involvement in the incident.

Clamspeak is irresistible. For as long as he's on the bridge "keeping his TRs in" and his "knowingness" will be in the back of his mind. Unknown how much clamspeak and thinking with Scientology has infiltrated your ordinary NOI mosque.
