No one else does this. Banks don't do this now. Hell, orgs don't even do this, I can't tell you how much GI was collected AFTER 2:00 and still counted. I heard this and saw this myself.

But just the datum that the week ends Thursday at 2:00. It's arbitrary, I guess that you have to end your week sometime.

The reason for Thursday, I remember reading, was so Friday could be the start of the week, and somehow get some momentum going into the weekend.

the reason for 2:00 I'm guessing, is so that the income could be gotten to the bank before 3pm bank closing time.

In my opinion the very bizarre 2pm cut-off thing is identical to the very bizarre Thursday week-ending cutoff. He didn't want someone to think they "completed the cycle of a week" so he put it in the middle of the day so they would not relax after "completing a cycle". Nobody was allowed to go "off on a win", lol.

I think the design of it is simply this---Hubbard wanted a "perpetual machine" that generated money to him:

Thursday is good because otherwise people would relax on weekends. He wouldn't allow that so he made the week-ENDS into the week-MIDS. Same reason that casinos remove all clocks from their walls and don't allow windows. So nobody has any concept of time starting or ending----thus they can focus on gambling and the casino wins.

Scientology itself is a gambling casino where you BET all your money and all your time that Ron wasn't lying when he guaranteed magical powers and immortality.

However it's not an ethics offense for a SO member to have sex with someone not their spouse-----IF THE PERSON THEY HAD SEX WITH IS A WHALE OR A CELEBRITY and putting the SO member in ethics could in any way upset or even mildly perturb their rich customer.

Same with the stone-cold KSW policy of never allowing anyone who has an extensive psych history on auditing lines.

How about someone with an electro-shock history, could they get on auditing lines?

I think I said something like it isn't possible to speak openly without a derogatory comment occasionally. She said that Critical = MWH, plain and simple.

Then how the hell do you apply HCO PL "Ethics Review"???
