Here's a review of the "Love, Sex, Fear, Death" book about The Process. According to this, de Grimston was ousted from the group in 1974 by Mary Ann MacLean, whose mouthpiece he had been all along. He eventually got "a real job" -- I read something somewhere about him working with computers (before everybody did) -- and was living in Staten Island, yet. He'd also dropped de Grimston and reverted to his birth name of Robert Moor.Maybe no one is interested in this except me, but I find DeGrimston to be somewhat unique as a cult leader that retired from cult-ing and went on to live a life in obscurity. A bit of searching shows DeGrimston is still living at 88, apparently married, and lives a quiet retirement in Florida. An address and phone are easily found but I won't repeat them here. Google earth shows the home to be attractive and well-maintained but not ostentatious.
Perhaps more information will be available when he inevitably passes.
