She was branded a Scientologist villain by some online. But is she a villain at all?

This Booking information shows how lax the punishment is for Automobile accidents......in the US.

$10,000 Bond.....but waved. She was able to simply walk away after her arrest....for a Felony, without posting any money at all.

Also the Document states that she was born in Florida.....which I find highly suspect as to being truthful.....

Grace writes on her Linked In page that she got her education from 1965 to around 1977 in Amsterdam Holland.....

It appears that she did post a bond; I don't see it as being waived.

Also, I suspect that if there IS an error in her place of birth that it was the fault of the Clearwater Police. I say this because they listed her middle initial as "L" which is false, and I'm sure they had access to an ID or she told them her real name.

This site contains her correct middle initial and a record of her posting a bond.

Thanks. I assumed on my Document posted above when it said Zero Bond Amount Due....that she didn't have to post one.

I didn't look up those Surety Bond docs you posted....didn't want to sign up for the service. But a little research indicates that that sort of Bond is usually between 1% and 15%. I had always heard 10% for a Bail Bond....was the usual situation.

I still don't think she was born in Florida....as that Doc above shows.....but as you say....could be a mistake? Still.....??
Of course a "mistake" in her name is dodgy also...IMO.....if it was printed incorrectly on any ID she showed the police.....

I'm not trying to grind on her.....

It is just that Fake Driving Documents really really piss me off..... I've experienced them several times....over the years.

I believe that it showed zero bond amount due because she already posted one to meet the requirement.

Maybe she wasn't born in FL but I don't anyway see it as significant for this case.

Back to the subject of the thread title...

I'm not going to judge her character based on this one incident when I'm ignorant of how she behaved for the other 74+ years of her life. So I'm not going to characterize her as a "villain" Clearly, her decision to leave the scene of the accident was an extremely bad move on her part.

I'm not trying to make her out to be a Snidely Whiplash.....but this second definition for a villain seems to cover what she did...

BUT....if you look upon it as a type of Scientology Fair Game......then it is the first definition also....

IF she had stayed.....then not. But she didn't. She FLED the scene......which covers the first and second definitions...

Saying otherwise....is being an apologist....IMO

We will never know if the victim could have lived if prompt action had been taken......

She could have called the police or fire department.......she could have alerted a close by house.....she could have flagged down a passing car.....she could have even tried to take him to a hospital herself.....

But she didn't.

But I do understand that Vehicular Manslaughter if practically a non-crime in the USA......

Anyway......this for me is an opportunity to "look under the hood" of the Scientology Public and former SO .....Clearwater Community.....

It is all fine on EXSCN2 to talk about John Travolta....and Lisa Marie....Tom Cruise.....and Kirsty Alley.....and their mulit-million dollar mansions in Clearwater..... All the Scientology Whales.....all the real estate being bought up..... David Miscavige and his fights with the Clearwater City Council.....over another piece of Downtown Real estate..... The Millionaire and Billionaire cult members that made it big in business....

But for me......here is a story that has GRIT.
This is a "common" long time Scientologist / former SO....that is now in trouble with the Law.
She literally killed another person....and fled. ( well he died a couple days after in the Hospital? )

A 75 years old Former Sea Org lady.....that lives in the Bubble of Scientology in Clearwater Fla.....how does she survive?

I am genuinely interested.....

If one at that age didn't have a Drivers License....and an Insured Car......it would be difficult to even get groceries....

How is she paying for things?

I saw Kirsty Alley in a car once in Clearwater.....but she was being Chauffeur Driven...

The accident happened around 3:30 pm on the 16th.

Grace was arrested around 11pm on the 17th.

Anthony died on the 19th.

No info on how long he lay in the street before an ambulance came???

Or even if that is what happened??

There is a long history of "right to drive" in the USA.

Driver's Licenses are kinda sacrosanct...

It is expensive to have a car...( and be legal ) here in the States.
Currently.....in this area, Car Insurance is around $170.00 per month.
We are lucky here in Florida...as there are no yearly Car Inspections....nor Emission Inspections... ( as in California...)

Uninsured Motorists....is a huge problem. But it mostly goes under the radar .... ( I don't know how...)
The Law is that if you don't have car insurance.....you can't drive.
But people do all the time.

Without a valid Drivers License....you can't really buy Car Insurance... So....Grace Hunter was most likely an Uninsured Motorist also....

There are many that drive without a Drivers License at all.....or a fake one.

It is just sheer luck that the Police found out who the driver was in this accident above.....Grace Hunter.

Does anyone here think that Grace Hunter would have turned herself into the Police for this death causing accident....of her own free will?
Wow my full comprehensive insurance is around $600 a year.

However, we also pay a third party (personal injury) annually with our registration. Mine is around $500 annually and is compulsory. Varies by vehicle type, size and usage type. Also varies by location and State.

She told me that she was born in The Netherlands, then at some stage her family moved to South Africa. She was onlines at Cape Town. She spoke fluent Dutch, French, German, Afrikaans and English, which, I'm sure, made her a prime target for Flag recruiters.

Per her LinkedIn profile she works as a writer of e-books (likely self-published). Hard to see how that pays the rent. Prior to that, she was an auditor for the past 20 years, stopping in 2010 (Golden Age of Tech II dropout?).
She is listed as a Managing Member of the Better Life Center LLC, along with Mark Barbee (OT8) and John Bellmaine (OT7), which is now Inactive.
Also, her address history indicates she's moved frequently in the last couple of years, indicating possible instability.
Sad really, a 75 year old woman, devoted much of her life to Scn, now not too useful.

One major life-changing event or mistake, and...

Yes, so true. Her booking photo… she looks shocked and bewildered. Dazed. I’m sure a lawyer will be very expensive…
She must have been looney to run… or terrified…

Yea, that Golden Age of Tech really knocked Field Auditors out…
