Looking for people who knew my mother Felice

Hello,

My mom's been gone for several years now and I'm hoping to find people who knew her back in the day...this would have need 1980 or earlier. Here name was Felice Brand, Felice Green, Felice Lisa, Felice Morris (she was married multiple times while in the sea org). She left after I was born.

Do you have any other details or info? Physical description , state or city she worked in, etc?

If you can give details of where she might have been posted, that would help. Was she assigned to the US? UK? EU?

If you have a picture or two of her, that might also jog some memories.

I believe she was in Chapel Hill (is that correct?) early on. She was on the Apollo for some time, and at Flag when I was born in 1979. My dad told me she was the first level 12 auditor. She was about 5'6", short black very curly hair. She would be 81 this year. I'll work on scanning a photo.

For Felice Morris and Felice Lisa I have only 7 results. The last name Brand also doesn't give many results. If I were you I'd look for Felice Green.

Oh ya, I knew your mom very well and worked with her for years at CCLA in the 70's. She had a wonderful bubbly personality and a great sense of humor. Sorry to hear of her passing. I'd never met her husband at the time, I believe his name was Joe, as I think they were already divorced.

My husband knew her well. At the time she had been married to Bernie Green, and my husband and she travelled up to Edinburgh to work in the AO. Felice was good friends with my husband’s mother and had an adopted son called Derek Green, who was subjected to a lot of abuse by Hubbard on the ship. My husband last spoke to Felice over the phone when she was working in Las Vegas as a nurse my husband believes. She was a very friendly, happy and jolly person with a strong Irish accent.

To the best of my memory, she touted herself as a class VIII, though, I never saw her audit anyone... I recall she mentioned FEBC credit quite often.

She was an auditor at FCDC when I was the Tech Sec there. She was Felice Green then.

Felice died in 2004. She was my mother. I could be wrong about her credentials...my father told me that she was the first level 8 auditor. At least that's what I think he said. I don't know very much about the whole thing. I do remember her telling me that she was trained as an auditor, but that she was primarily in PR.

I was fairly young when she died and quite a shit through my teenage years to be honest. I miss her very much and am hoping to learn more about her life before I was born. If you have any stories or memories of her I would be very grateful to hear them. Even if they aren't glowing :).

I think FEBC would be Flag Executive Briefing Course.

I remember seeing the name Felice Green in the old newsletters. They would also probably show what courses were completed. I have the newsletter dates tagged in the vintage carmelo thread. Start at the end and work back.

This free link to ancestry can be screwy or helpful. They made so many typos in the entries you have to pick around. But you can edit with her other names and see what comes up. Felice Brand - Ancestry.com
