Scientology smears Alex Barnes-Ross daily, and what else is there to do but sing about it?

Geoff Levin has a Christmas treat for us — another song! And here’s his introduction to it.

I met Alex about two years ago. I was impressed with his approach to exposing Scientology so effectively. We bonded when I found out Alex sings and writes songs. My first real interaction with him was helping him finish one of his recordings. He likes rock ‘n’ roll, so I fell right into his song by playing guitar on his track. For those who don’t know me, I had a hit record with my band PEOPLE! In 1968. The song was I Love You. Most of the band joined Scientology and that’s another story.

Alex exemplifies one of the biggest Scientology watch words: confront. And through his experiences, personal trials, therapy and research and whatever else he’s tackled he has been able to face the complex laws of Great Britain and is able to use them to counter the relentless lies and character assassination Scientology has thrown at him. I looked at the barrage of defamatory YouTube and social media videos posted to “dead agent” him. It’s clear he has shaken the very foundations of David Miscavige’s house of cards.

Alex is a polymath. He is musical, he sketches, he writes and he understands the basics of computers and he is articulate in front of the camera. And he seems to possess the thinking abilities of a barrister. That makes him a formidable human going up against the massively fake super power of Hubbard’s 8s. And Alex keeps Scientology’s secret service OSA on their toes.

The formula to get attacked by Scientology as I see it is: The number of social media attacks is proportional to the abject fear Scientology has of the person they are attacking. Alex is right up there. What I respect about Alex is his dedication to exposing the organizations lies through the legal system in England.

Another one of his strengths is his lack of ego. Even with all the attention he has received he is humble. When I came to London last year with my spouse he met us at the airport and helped get us settled in. That’s Alex, “there to help.” Selfless.
