We’ve been having some fun with Scientology’s latest parade of trophy-winners, who were revealed in the latest issue of Impact magazine.
But we didn’t want to leave out the actual cover story of that issue, which was about Scientology leader David Miscavige’s big media push this year that is clearing this planet at record speed!
Just look at that cover image: To illustrate the notion of Scientology going “global” to bring in the curious, they’re using an image from the London Underground.
“From billboards in the London Underground to television ads in New Zealand, our campaign rolled out in 30 countries,” the cover tag boasts.
Those ads in London sparked a media backlash there, and also resulted in some fun turnabout by the Michael J. Rinder Aftermath Foundation, which posted billboards of its own in Los Angeles, as well as in the very same London tube station and even in the same exact spots. (Very clever, guys.)
