TOP SUPER-STUPID MOMENTS IN SCIENTOLOGY (PART V)

True ex-Scientologist
Great post again HelluvaHoax!
Due to my involvement in Scientology, I have a deep seated hatred to "clapping"
it drives me nuts when I listen to music or podcasts and they dub in that fucking "crowd clapping" and I will mute the sound
All of those events and the non stop clapping drove me crazy. :panic::groan:
Anyone else experience that?
HaHa! Each day at the end of the ASHO Briefing Course class time the entire class would standup and clap while looking at a huge picture of LRH on the wall.

My "scientology" story: my neighbor took off late one night in an ominous looking limo with a driver and a security guy -- looked like secret service or something, definitely not a party. She tells me later that she got a call from the interior design firm she worked for (a huge international company that does big commercial jobs) one night at home saying she would be picked up for the airport in an hour to go on a business trip. They didn't say where or what for. Ends up she was taken to the Scientology ship headquarters off the coast of Florida to do some redecorating of the ship. She said she knew Scientology was a client of the company but had never done work for them but that she also knew Scientology always wanted different, random people from the company to come to their locations and, get this -- never the same person twice. I asked her what she did there and she said it was upholstery, drapery and carpeting for common areas on the ship, like lounges and dining rooms and hallways. She stayed in a hotel on shore then those Sea Corp Scientologists -- you know in the para-navy costumes -- or whatever they are called, ferried her out to the ship on a small boat and back again and that whatever areas she was escorted to on the ship to work were completely cleared of people so she never really saw anyone but the person assigned to work with her and those Sea Corp people. Everything else was handled by the in-house travel people at her huge firm. She said Scientology had been a client of the company where she worked forever and it was always the same drill -- employees seemed to be selected at random to go to one of their locations, never the same employee twice, and they were never told where they were going whether it was ten miles from their office or on a long trip, that the employees basically never saw anything or anyone where they were assigned to work -- so if it was one of those huge buildings that needed new carpeting or something, the areas they went into would have no people at all in them and no signs of what went on there. She said everyone said the same thing -- the spaces would look vacated with just the basic furnishings left in place be they offices, banquet rooms, kitchens, whatever. She said she and her co-workers used to laugh that all the Scientologists must have been "beamed-up" just before they arrived. haha, funny, right?Freewinds.Aruba.jpg

Interesting! So, "WOGS" were kept separated from "OTs".

Because they are completely different kind of beings that cannot safely co-exist. The OTs "total cause over life" and thus they cannot be exposed to people who are living life.

Despite being 100% different from homo sapiens, Scientologists are identical in one way. It's right in that story you pasted above!

". . . employees seemed to be selected at random to go
to one of their locations, never the same employee twice,
and they were never told where they were going."

To wit, Scientologists (whether Sea Org or paying public) never have the slightest clue where they are going when they begin their Scientology routing form. There are no "r-factors" what the final destination for the end of the "Bridge" is! You only find out when you get their, much like the "huge win" a mouse get when he finally finds the cheese in the mousetrap.

A veritable treasure trove of Scientology Stupid was
posted on another thread by Enthetan.

see post at:
LINK HERE

If anyone has any doubts about whether Scientology is an idiotic hoax that drives people into delusionally stupid states, here's one way (amongst thousands) to quickly prove it.

The year was 1961. The pathologically audacious con man known as L. Ron Hubbard was clearing the planet and salvaging this sector of the universe. He had once again discovered the miraculous missing link to his "Bridge To Total Freedom" that would guarantee blissful immortality and magical powers to all who paid him enormous sums of money.

Keep in mind that in Scientology THREE THINGS are always true:

1. ALL OF THE 100% TECH WORKS 100% OF THE TIME!
2. WHEN NEW 100% TECH IS DISCOVERED, ALL THE PREVIOUS 100%
WORKABLE TECH IS REVEALED TO HAVE NOT WORKED MORE THAN 0%.
3. SCIENTOLOGISTS MUST ALWAYS PROMOTE #1, BUT NEVER EVER
MENTION (OR EVEN DARE TO THINK ABOUT) #2.

Thus in 1961 Hubbard released the biggest breakthrough ever! It would guarantee that beings could finally "make it" to the level of Operating Thetan for the first time! Never mind that all the previous OT auditing processes and rundowns that had been sold did absolutely nothing. Cue triumphant music and digitally pre-recorded applause track. Unleash the confetti and balloons! Everyone is on their feet cheering, so something amazing must have happened! Right?

Here you go, the cure for the fact that none of Scientology's OTs had any OT powers.

It's the WHOLETRACK SEC CHECK!

ps: After Scientologists paid for and completed their own WHOLETRACK SEC CHECK in 1961, none of them became an OT.

pps: In the 60 years since that time, there have been innumerable 100% workable tech breakthroughs that made it possible for 100% of all Scientologists to attain the miraculous state of OT. Unfortunately, none of those breakthroughs worked either. To date, zero OTs.

ppps: But those Scientologists, they're still trying oh so hard to get those magical powers! Because Ron said that 100% of them would "make it" to full operating thetan.

pppps: If Ron "discovers" that the previous tech didn't work, that's called an "unprecedented breakthrough!" If a Scientologist observes that the tech didn't work, that's called an SP Declare.

Are there any other questions about how Scientology drives people insane?

I’m sure that Miscavige doesn’t want Sea Org members to have any contact with non-Scn contractors.
We personally know someone who, upon leaving the Sea Org, went on to build a lucrative career with a non-Scn ship retrofit contractor that he had met and worked with on the Freewinds.
.
Therein lies a remarkable contradiction. Perhaps even a paralyzing PC paradox!
- - While in, the elite SEA ORG MEMBERS are continuously indoctrinated to believe that if they blow, their life wil be in ruins because they will only be capable of "flipping burgers" for minimum wages.
- - However, these very same SEA ORG MEMBERS are also continuously indoctrinated that they are the planet's elite of the elite. They are the "total cause" OTs who are not only saving the planet, but salvaging this sector (of the universe).

This sudden and shocking loss of magical powers apparently happens instantly the moment one tries to use their supernatural powers outside of a Sea Org base.

EXPLANATION: "Reality is agreement" -Hubbard. It logically follows, then, that when a supernatural OT blows from an Ideal Org, nobody knows they have supernatural powers. Therefore, because wogs do not agree that the OT has paranormal powers, their Godlike miracles don't happen in reality. However, this is not as disappointing as it appears. Because, Scientology research can prove that these incredible miracles do continue happening in the theta universe!

The SO tries very hard to cut off members from anyone outside Scientology who might help them establish a life if they "blow".

I find this to be VENGEFUL and SPITEFUL after slaving said ex So member for a pittance as in slave labor.
It is not vengeful. "Vengeful" means "seeking to harm someone in return for a perceived injury". The escaping SO member committed no legitomate injury.

They are EVIL. That is the correct term.

Hello

I don't know if the following has ever been addressed before but here goes.

It's probably no good arguing with $cientology cultists they didn't receive 'gain' because they probably did.

However, it wasn't due to Dianetic$ or $cientology because according El Con around one in five people will experience gain no matter what 'therapy' is applied.

There are several processes in use by professional auditors at this time which
reach into and resolve even those cases which we used to consider difficult. As I have
developed these one after another, I have discovered that each one missed on a small
percentage of cases. A combination of these processes which I organized while
teaching the Advanced Clinical Courses is apparently achieving, in the hands of capable
auditors, the uniform resolution.

The auditor should realize something about case percentages. About twenty-two
percent of all cases, which is to say all people, resolve, at least partially, with the
application of almost any process Man has ever had. A new drug, a new tom-tom, a
new god, anything serves to right any wrongness in these cases. Witch doctoring,
medicine, psychoanalysis, when they advance case histories, normally have selected
from this twenty-two percent. But then this twenty-two percent would have resolved on
any process.

'This admission was among the first where people should have cottoned onto the fact El Con was a crackpot, criminal conman covertly hostilely trying to put his ethics in:

No matter how criminal an individual is, s/he will be trying, one way or another, to put ethics in on him-herself.’

After I blew scn I hooked up with a woman who had been in a different small cult. She said that she read somewhere that at least 30% of all people get better no matter what therapy they choose. I guess getting better means resolving whatever they entered therapy for in the first place.

By the way, any gain a cultist did get was probably applicable to the foretold, delusional and definitely temporary, and it should never have cost $600,000 while sucking the life out of you.

Being with my better half, while watching fireworks and eating chocolate ice cream yields far greater short duration and long duration results by a country mile.

new god, anything serves to right any wrongness in these cases.

To be honest, there was one area of significant gain: before Scientology I was doing drugs. Nothing serious, pot and some hash, but I was getting stoned every night and it was affecting my work. Was getting off drugs worth what I paid, in time and money, for Scientology. Probably not. But it was a benefit.

After I blew scn I hooked up with a woman who had been in a different small cult. She said that she read somewhere that at least 30% of all people get better no matter what therapy they choose. I guess getting better means resolving whatever they entered therapy for in the first place.
How many people can truthfully claim they are better as a result of the El Con's therapies, either Dianetic$ or its offshoot and subset $cientology?

'Processing (therapy) is actually measured by the gradual increase in ability. Step by step these increases in ability walk up the Class Chart and ability is the measure of progress.'

(Ref: HCOB 14 June 1970 THE RETURN PROGRAM.)

I expect any claimants to objectively prove his/her increase 'in ability'.

This is also the position for those who the Cult of $cientology claimed had attained the rank/status of Clear (whatever version), Pre-OT (whatever version) or OT (whatever version).

Feeling better after receiving Dianetic$ therapy or $cientology therapy may be compared to feeling relief after relieving oneself but I would forward it is not worth $600,000 and one's life, and it is only one life, as not one passed cultist has ever proven s/he has returned from the 'other side'. Instead of "Here's Ronny!" cultists should be asking "Where's Ronny?".

May I ask, "Did you decide to stop doing drugs?". If you decided, the Cult of $cientology didn't get you off drugs, you did.

Perhaps it was put to you to join or remain in El Con's first facet of life (dynamic) you have to get off drugs as it may or is adversely affect your other fourteen facets of life - I count at least fifteen facets of life, unlike El Con, I haven't a fixation with the occult's '8' - which was later overturned when his renowned flip-flopping once again got the better of him and he introduced the ninth facet of life, the buck and aesthetics – money sure was beautiful to Ol' Yella, and the tenth, ethics - a misdirection if ever there was one.

One must also take into account the cult's drug programmes never helped El Con, and for the matter Slappy Mi卐carriage, either, given his life-long propensity for consuming drugs, that is, tobacco, alcohol, over the counter, prescription, street and Dr Denk's - perhaps he thought it was Kool.

He may have computated the evaluating and invalidating service facsimile, "Since Dianetic$ and $cientology are part of my first facet of life activities I can do what I want!", and if anyone objected used Tom Cruise's interpersonal communication skills and blurted out, "Fuck you!". “Now, barkeep another jug of rum to wash down these pinks and greys!”

Mostly, it was from changing my social circle, from hanging out with pot-heads to hanging out with cultists who wanted to suck all my money and time out of me.

Both were destructive, long-term, but in different ways.

Nicely put!

But why oh why do marks get sucked so easily into the black hole of cults? Perhaps, because all cults can scientifically prove that their members received substantial "gains" and "wins" and "results"!

The conniving math on this is fairly easy to conjure and configure into propaganda promo. All that is required is to blinklessly focus on one (1) "positive" effect and ignore all the other delusions, disruptions & destructions to that same individual's life.

example: An investment guru's brochure boasts countless euphoric testimonials from investors who have achieved sensational monthly "gains" for years and have seen their nest egg expand by over 1000%. Later, the authorities arrest the Ponzi schemer who defrauded victims out of a billion dollars. Adding to their misery the "huge gains!" celebrants are ordered to repay all of their profit distributions and are then informed that their entire principal no longer exists. Adding insult to injury, tax agencies then assess major retroactive tax bills with interest and penalties--even though they have already been bankrupted by the scam.
example: A flourishing & prospering meth dealer could re-imagine themselves as a diet guru--and thereafter produce tens of thousands of glowing "success stories" from formerly overweight clients who are now incredibly skinny.
But let's not be so negative and flow power to all that entheta. Let's all try to remain uptone and just focus on all those theta success stories! LOL.

After considerable thought on the matter (after leaving the cult) I came to the following admittedly simplistic conclusion:

CULTS MAKE THE ABLE MORE ABLE. THEREFORE---

CULT MEMBERS ARE "MORE ABLE" TO HAVE HUGE WINS ON ANYTHING
THAT THEY WERE "R-FACTORED" WOULD PRODUCE HUGE WINS.

ERGO, A SCIENTOLOGIST CAN SUCCESSFULLY CLAY DEMO AND
WRITE A GLOWING SUCCESS STORY ON HOW LUNG CANCER
CAN CAN BE CURED WITH A FEW TOUCH ASSISTS OR BY
DAILY SMOKING MANY MORE PACKS OF CIGARETTES.

What?! You thought that it was going to make sense?

It doesn't have to make sense--it's Scientology.

Just in case anyone thinks that the above is so incredibly stupid it must be satire. . .

"Now the little trick I want you to pull on your friends is a simple one, very simple one. Any time you see somebody bunged up, you know, with a blister or warts or something of the sort—just put your finger on it and say “Look at my finger, Look at my finger”, each time he does, “Look at my finger”--even though it’s on the back of his neck, you see? “Look at my finger, look at my finger,” just keep that up for a while and if it’s something real bad like, uh, oh I don’t know, cancer— something like that, keep doing it, keep doing it, every day for 15 or 20 minutes a day. It’ll go away and you will become a miracle healer." (L. Ron Hubbard taped lecture)

It is not vengeful. "Vengeful" means "seeking to harm someone in return for a perceived injury". The escaping SO member committed no legitomate injury.

They are EVIL. That is the correct term.

The cult perceives leaving the group, departing the Sea Org a perceived injury.
It is vengeance.
