the problem of authoritarianism - with Chris Shelton & Jon Atack

programmer_guy

True ex-Scientologist
They are mainly talking about modern authoritarianism and not about the human history of ancient royal families in charge of selecting and enforcing a national religion amongst a mainly illiterate agricultural population and their purposes for doing so.

However, mainly as a followup on this topic, they should also discuss parenting in our modern times.

You may like this book which Jon recommends near the end of the video. He also speaks about problems he had with teachers and his children:

Poor delusional Chris Shelton.... the self proclaimed "CRITICAL THINKER" at large... not doing any critical thinking...not even AT SMALL.

My experience of Chris Shelton is that he is still in the Scientology Management valence and he think's he is smarter than everyone else.
Just goes to show you, you can get the man out of Scientology but you can't get Scientology out of the man.

The self proclaimed Cult expert..has been on a rampage for years... spewing his hate of President Trump and the followers.
His side kick is Steve Hassan - a self proclaimed cult expert that was in the Moonies and in upper management so he thinks he is right all the time too. LOL

Chris Shelton's mind is grooved into not thinking for himself.. so on the subject of Politics... he has gone insane while he takes on the valence of a LOATHING PROGRESSIVE.

For a while now, Chris is standing on his Progressive Cult Podium, accusing Trump Supporters of being in a cult.
He uses disconnection and shunning as his tools if you disagree with him.

I feel sorry for him. Chris Shelton is really trying to help and he has done some good on the subject of Scientology but he lost credibility with many people when he dove deep into the Progressive Cult's Arms... never to come out with a sane mind again. Chris, IMO, is too far gone.

One ex Scientologist, Tom Padgett, posted something somewhere.. (can't recall) about Chris Shelton...and it fits his personality like a glove.

I am Chris Shelton, Ex Scientologist who was in UPPER Management.
I am smarter than you.

The problem with ex Scientologists who are self proclaimed cult experts.. is they can't see when they are in other cults.
This goes for Chris Shelton. He left Scientology cult after 27 years and believes he has the ability to think for himself.
THAT will take decades to recover from. He is scarred for life and will never be able to fully recover from that mind fuck.

Chris Shelton's mind is "grooved in" to joining other cults because he cannot think for himself. It was audited and trained out of him.
THAT is science. He is displaying evidence of that by his rants about Trump and his hate behavior.

According to those that knew Chris Shelton, (people who wrote about him on the net) it took Chris Shelton being the recipient of disconnection from his lover because he was discussing the "outpoints" of Scientology with her behind closed doors... and she turned him in.
That is why he left Scientology.
Not because Chris Shelton had the ability to see he was in a cult when he was in it.
He left Scientology because he was caught by the thought police.

Poor Chris Shelton can't help it... he joined the Progressive Cult movement most likely cuz his parents were Democrats or he has some belief that the Democratic party is going to take a stand for something he is passionate about.. right to kill babies, feed the poor, house the homeless and down on capitalism.

I don't know if Chris is working and bringing in money by producing a product or service that people need and want. He begs for money in exchange for his videos on Scientology. See- that is what the cult members LEARNED to do... beg for money. I think many of his videos help cult members recover from the abuses of Scientology but I don't think ex members should exploit the vulnerable people that are raw from being mind fucked by Scientology. Steve Hassan does that too. He charges huge fees and exploits the vulnerable and needy.
He is also on a HATE TRUMP rampage with his book "Cult of Trump".

Chris Shelton has displayed that he cannot think for himself.
He BELIEVES everyone who does not think like him.... is in a cult.
He and Steve Hassan are everywhere on the internet spewing HATE about President Trump.
This is not an example of being Critical Thinkers.

By the way, I do not think people that are Democrats are in a cult. I think they believe there is such a thing as a DEMOCRAT. They are under undue influence from the lying politicians who take advantage of the propaganda press they own and control. I am not a Republican but I had to register as a Republican to vote for Trump. I know the definition of Republican does not exist as it once was used.
I believe in our country, the constitution and in freedom.

There are no such things as Democrats or Republicans. We believe there is because it is part of our identity.
WE are all being played by CCP who has infiltrated our country in many covert ways.

"Hi. I’m Chris Shelton. I’m a writer, blogger and video producer. I grew up in the Church of Scientology and worked for the organization for 25 years.
People call Scientology a cult. And they’re right. It is a cult.
But the last people who are ever going to realize that, are the Scientologists."

Gone away from madness!
The house of madness full of testosteron left the politics for another thread🙄......

Yet, it's so comforting to know there is still a loyal officer in command to apply the proper delusional ethics gradient to suppressive entheta people who dare to pronounce the Guru sacred Name.

I am not part of Chris Shelton followers, especially as It's long time I am not interested in Scientology, and because I usually do my own searches to feed my critical thinking..
However, that was a very interesting podcast, no matter one agrees or not with both their takes on authoritarian people, groups, cults, their propaganda, predatory nature of some humans and the awakening conscience to a greater area of responsibility for the better wellness of our societies, John Atak made his points with lots of documented historical facts to support his thinking.

He is a smart, brilliant educated man.
This was a refreshing podcast, away of the conspirationists bulls hit podcast made by a guy who never shower nor open read a book of history but wanna be an enlightening Guru.

I have see No Hate in that podcast and didn't felt I was under attack, by their opinions though 🤔. An opinion is not a weapon, it is an idea that you either consider or not. The weapons are more related to hate propaganda, as history have demonstrated over the thousands years of humanity.

Actually it was a nice discussion.

Thanks to the dangerous house troll @Harold#1 for posting it. 😄

When I first saw the announcement by Jon Atack for that video I thought it would be good but not interesting enough to spend two hours watching it. Then I decided to give it a try. It's mostly Jon Atack speaking and he was very interesting and insightful so I posted it thinking few if any of the "members" here would watch it, but I'm glad you did and liked it. Jon Atack seems to be one of those evil SJWs!!!

In regards to the topics he covered and the words and concepts he used, I thought the same, that it could be regarded as evil SJW, but frankly, since I belong to the sort of people who are labelled so, I really don't care he talked, for instance, about socialism VS capitalism, as he tries to dig deeper into the causes of problems we encounter in our societies.

I am certain it can find people who will like this, because the topics he discusses are of interest, as well as any takes of people who dig those subjects are.
😉
