What flashed in my mind upon seeing this post is the NAZI SS. Of the few people I've known who had been part of OSA and underwent the imposed indoctrination therein, each person came out deranged and/or emotionally damaged. At least some of them are still scarred with the mindset/belief of a paranoid conspiracy theorist, at least some still believing that their training is legitimate. Very sad.

When I went to Los Angeles I ran into someone who had joined the Guardian's Office there. He'd been my neighbor in Orlando. He was very excited to admit to me right there on the street outside AOLA, that he'd been a NAZI in a past life. The odd thing was that his space was so expanded while confessing this. This winning role was a big win for him I guess. I'd always known Alan Pierson previously to be kinda of meek, but now.....he was on a dedicated mission to get those secret SPs!
