The original Ex Scientologist Message Board

If this has already been covered here, please excuse me. But— that message board seems to be down. I’d thought it was going to be left up for read-only.

I still have my old log in and had read some stuff there in the last few months.

But now there’s a message saying they’ll be back soon. It seems to have been that way a while.

Anyone know anything?

I would be surprised if @Emma wanted to keep it up.
It is her decision whether she wants to spend any effort on it anymore.

I’m aware of her rights. I just wondered if anyone had any info.

I was hoping it might get mirrored like Arnie‘s stuff.

That was then. Today, the Ex Scientology Message Board (original board) is gone
I think it is important it stays up.
It has a lot of information that helped me get out.

Maybe it is down for repairs again.
That was just 3 weeks ago.

do you have any experience with archiving websites and know how long that takes?
I'm the guy who thought the Theranos trial would be done and over by the western christmas 2021 AD. So asking me about timelines is a risky idea.

You might try using the WayBackMachine (Wayback Machine)
The web spider used by Archive.Org has never been particularly good at crawling dynamically generated forum sites (powered by phpBB, XenForo, etc.) It only picks up a fraction of the content.

I haven't used it in years. Sometimes it worked and sometimes not.
I was just making a suggestion for something to try.

Recent testing of Archive.Org I did with ESMB post URLs obtained from Google Search failed.
