This threat letter takes the form of letters written Bert Deixler and Gary Soter (Cult attorneys) ..almost carbon copies of what they demand, time line for response etc, tone level etc.
I received many of those.
Hot Air. Bogus. Fake. False threats.
I wonder if this is a cut and paste or whether Cult lawyers were involved in this threat letter
?

Tony's response ...perfect ! LOL

Bent in all sorts of ways..
Well it looks like I'm a little behind the times here.

I had no idea that Tommy Davis had even parted ways with Jessica, so it was rather a surprise to hear he has just gotten married.

Wonder if he'll be nasty with her in due course like with others. Couldn't imagine it being all warm and fluffy somehow.

A VERY STABLE SUPER GENIUS!!
Two of my favorite people in an interesting and entertaining video:

Jon Atack writes:

"When it comes to Scientology, Tony Ortega is undoubtedly the best-informed journalist in the world. For eight years, he has posted a new piece every day at the Underground Bunker. He tells Jon how his interest was sparked and shares some fascinating stories. Tony also speaks about the gradual but inevitable demise of Scientology."

Anybody does anything and I'm afraid the "Streisand Effect" will happen again,
if past history is any barometer of the maniacs on the Internet.

Best to let sleeping dogs lie.

I normally understand your posts so well.
But this one I don't follow
?

Don't we want full broadcasts and disclosures on all venues and platforms ?

My comment was tongue and cheek advice for Tommy, I guess.

If Tommy or DM try to sue or take legal steps, the "Streisand Effect" happens.
The videos get a newfound notoriety and get distributed all over the Internet
even more. If they sue or threaten . . . they must be important. Gotta see 'em.

Historic "Streisand Effect" moment on the Internet
In January 2008, the Church of Scientology tried unsuccessfully to get websites
to delete a video of Tom Cruise speaking about Scientology, even filing a copyright
claim in an effort to get the videos removed.
But not only did the footage get much more attention than before the church's
legal efforts, it even resulted in the creation of Project Chanology - the anti-Scientology
campaign.
"The Church of Scientology would have been better with a less aggressive approach
- in all likelihood this video, without the extra attention, would have petered out after
the initial buzz subsided."
Source BBC

Streisand Effect is happening with Hunter Biden's emails right now. More people than ever will
see and read them because Twitter and Facebook have tried to hide them.

I'll assume many people have already downloaded the videos from Tony's website for safekeeping.
Not very hard to do. Genii has been released from the bottle forever. Too late for Tommy.

Just way too many places to re-post banned or "forbidden" videos nowadays. Tommy must be stupid.

Sorry for any confusion. :coolwink:
