EXCERPT from blog:
On May 26, we told you about David Miscavige’s rising new Scientology star, anti-vaxx “human rights attorney” Leigh Dundas, who is making a name for herself by pretending that public health officials asking people to wear masks to protect against a deadly pandemic is constitutional heresy and is tantamount to murder.

It’s won her a small legion of fans among the scientifically-challenged, and has garnered her some entertaining mentions in local press articles about protests in various parts of California.

And now it turns out that on the very day that our article about Dundas appeared she outdid herself with a fiery display at an Orange County Board of Supervisors meeting that would have major implications.

‘Things have gotten ugly’ — pandemic pushback drives health directors to quit

Leigh Dundas angrily wagged her finger at Orange County supervisors at their board meeting last month as she ticked off what she thought were damning details about the professional background of county health officer Nichole Quick. The anti-vaccination attorney named Quick’s boyfriend and disclosed her home address, saying she was going to bring protesters in masks to do calisthenics on her front doorstep until they passed out.

“She needs to be fired,” Dundas declared.

It was a strikingly personal attack on Quick, who had vexed many local officials and residents alike with her recent order requiring that people wear masks when in public to prevent the spread of the novel coronavirus. The county sheriff provided her with a security detail even as he said he would not enforce the mask order. Finally, under pressure from both county supervisors and the public, Quick resigned last week, the third high-level Orange County health official to do so during the pandemic. And Orange County reversed her mask order.

Orange County has become a hot spot for the pushback against mask orders. Quick issued an order last month requiring everyone in the county to wear masks in public and at work when they are unable to stay six feet apart. Elected officials on the Board of Supervisors criticized the order, while some activists erroneously claimed that wearing masks is more dangerous than not wearing them. During public meetings, opponents of the order targeted their anger at Quick.

Leigh Dundas, a lawyer who fought against last year’s vaccine bill, rattled off personal information about Quick, including the name of her boyfriend and urged people to go to her home to protest. Speakers at one meeting showed off posters of Quick with a Hitler mustache and swastikas.

After Quick resigned, the county’s new health officer relaxed the mask order amid pressure from the Board of Supervisors.

The Orange County Medical Assn. said Quick’s departure “creates a dangerous precedent.” In addition to Quick, health officers in Butte, Nevada, San Benito and Yolo counties have resigned or retired, while county health directors in Orange and San Bernardino have also retired, according to the California Medical Assn.

Although Leigh Dundas wasn't named, this proposed legislation was clearly inspired at least in part by Scientology Clear Leigh Dundas announcing the home address of the Orange County Health Officer at a public meeting.

This is the part where Dr. Pan refers to the obnoxious and threatening Scientologist:

She resigned after that incident and extremists announced online they would be targeting other health officers. Yeah, quite an accomplishment when one's behavior is so extreme and threatening that it helps to inspire remedial protective legislation.
