$9.99 may be a bit much for a 35 page book.

Perhaps LJ Kemsley believes that the price elasticity of demand for her book is low. The Wikipedia article on the subject explains:

Price elasticity of demand

* * * * * BEGIN EXCERPT * * * * *

Price elasticity of demand

A good's price elasticity of demand is a measure of how sensitive the quantity demanded of it is to its price. When the price rises, quantity demanded falls for almost any good, but it falls more for some than for others. The price elasticity gives the percentage change in quantity demanded when there is a one percent increase in price, holding everything else constant. If the elasticity is -2, that means a one percent price rise leads to a two percent decline in quantity demanded. Other elasticities measure how the quantity demanded changes with other variables (e.g. the income elasticity of demand for consumer income changes).

Price elasticities are negative except in special cases. If a good is said to have an elasticity of 2, it almost always means that the good has an elasticity of -2 according to the formal definition. The phrase "more elastic" means that a good's elasticity has greater magnitude, ignoring the sign. Only goods which do not conform to the law of demand, such as Veblen and Giffen goods, have a positive elasticity. Demand for a good is said to be inelastic when the elasticity is less than one in absolute value: that is, changes in price have a relatively small effect on the quantity demanded. Demand for a good is said to be elastic when the elasticity is greater than one. A good with an elasticity of -2 has elastic demand because quantity falls twice as much as the price increase; an elasticity of -0.5 indicates inelastic demand because the quantity response is half the price increase.[1]

Revenue is maximised when price is set so that the elasticity is exactly one.

"This book is created for you to understand why

things aren't going right and how you can
start making things go right!"
Lisa Kemsley Co-Executive Director AOGP

QUESTION #1: Why didn't Lisa and her business partner (and fiance, who is the other "Co-Executive Director AOGP") use the book's priceless "secrets" of making it go right to prevent the AOGP from failing and closing their bricks & mortar MEST doors?

QUESTION #2: Why didn't Lisa and her business partner/fiance apply the book's "tech" to "make it go right" to repay the loan taken from another Indie Scientologist that resulted in being sued and hit with a $46,000 judgment? (see Underground Bunker article:
"Trouble In The Freezone - Even Indies are Suing Each Other")

QUESTION #3: Wouldn't it be a good idea to boom sales of this book by selling copies to the plaintiff who won the $46,000 judgment as well as 6 other Indie Scientologists--who also loaned them money and got stiffed? Then, all those "low-toned" and "low-havingness" creditors would stop "enturbulating" them. Because, if the tech contained in the book actually worked, all those "PTS" losers who lost their money could "make it go right" to collect it.

I literally only get $6.75 for every book as KDP takes a percentage. 9.99 is standard.

Hey, shit happens.

Especially when you start Declaring people to be "toxic" and "low toned" and "trolls" and loaded with "overts".

Use your "make it go right tech" and all your problems will vanish! LOL

Lisa, If your favourite cult quote really is "if it's not fun, it's not scientology" you must be about as observant as a wet paper bag.

If that is true then there would never have been any Sea Org staff thrown overboard when Hubbard took staff into the Mediterranean Sea decades ago.

Hubbard never said it. Some PR person invented the saying.

Hubbard spoke about insouciance in the 1950s, before Scientology became "deadly serious."

Scientologirl (perhaps without knowing it), is a Reformed Scientologist, that means she can alter Scientology and abandon parts of Scientology, if she feels it violates the spirit what is best in Scientology.

Song written before Scientology,
sung while Scientologists, now ex-Scientologists.

ya know, ya'll keep going on about members being thrown overboard like it was the most brutal thing. I've seen pictures of it, many of them were laughing while it happened. Most of the people on fb that were in the Sea Org are pretty proud of it and high toned.

From what I've seen so far, I haven't seen anything that needed altering.

Then again, when people get terrorized and injured being thrown overboard, that is fun (for sadists and sociopaths). Say hello (and okay) to Dr. Hubbard!

I am also skeptical (like Bill) if Hubbard ever actually said that quote. It sounds much more like something a mission holder or tours registrar or Div VI lecturer would have said. It's corny and phony beyond belief. For someone to believe that quote they would have to never spent a few weeks at a St. Hill, an AO or Flag---or never spent a few minutes at any of the International management bureaus/offices where Hubbard was located.

One way to prove that quote is a fugazi is simple. Just take a moment to ask yourself this question:

IF SCIENTOLOGY IS ONLY FUN, FUN, FUN--THEN
WHY DO 98% OF ALL SCIENTOLOGISTS BLOW?
