would have been her 65th birthday today.

.

"In 1994, Lisa McPherson, who became a Scientology adherent at age 18,[4] moved from Dallas, Texas, to Clearwater, Florida, with her employer, AMC Publishing, which was at that time owned by Bennetta Slaughter and operated and staffed primarily by Scientologists. During June 1995, the Church of Scientology placed McPherson in an "Introspection Rundown" due to perceived mental instability. McPherson completed the process, and she attested to the state of "Clear" in September.[5]"

I did not realize that Lisa McPherson was not a Sea Org member....

It is terrifying that the cult of Scientology could do this to a Public Person.....

The Sea Org got a little too self confident about their own powers. There was this onslaught in th early 80s, when waves of imperious missionaires busted into missions and the new Class V Orgs. Their most evil deed was them causing destruction and Introspection to staff by enforcing the List One. That was a witch hunt for R/Sers. Saw a lot of tears and good execs resign as they were said to be the WHY for income dropping. It was usally some arrogant 20 yr olds that got to crucify those having worked 11 yrs on staff.

Funny that you can project false realities in familes, and other wrong indications about each others' past and conquests, or failures, and they don't go insane. But, it's different with character assassinations about your purposes or current intentions, when it's your closest allies and confidants. This we take seriously.

The D of Ps and the C/Ses at Miami Org made a deal of creating for some abused individuals, a custom made, hand-written 'list error' sort out. It was one of the most compassionate things I'd ever seen an Org do. I don't believe we got debited for it. It was explained to me that many thngs could act like a list error and cause a steep crash in case. Tech vols were brought into the session rooms to fully clear it.

This might be way off, but the e-meters being built by kids must have made them squirrely? These stories of people like hannah whitfield rock slamming make no sense. Then they did weird shit to make the meter "right" and the people wrong.

Probably the best thing that happened to them, long term.

Getting busted off staff and deemed ineligible to return helped me a lot.
