Julian Schwartz worried he's going to jail? What the hell?

There was a murder a while back - one scio business partner was giving $ to the IAS, and was shot by his non- scio partner. I don't recall how ethics handled this, He ended up in jail. Other than retrieving his OT materials, what did the church do?
Backwards. The Scn (Fowler) shot the non-Scn (Ciancio ) apparently over the non-Scn threatening legal action over misuse of corporate fund to make IAS payments. Fowler the Scientologist went to prison for murder.

And yes, the first thing that the org did was retrieve the OT materials before police got involved.

They did nothing else?

Not that I recall, although they may have had an active role behind the scenes.

Here's one of the threads from old ESMB

looking at the old thread, I am surprised how many of those on the thread no longer post here. I can see his wife responding to pressure from Flag to recover the briefcase asap, but what an unthinking way to go about it.

I was once stopped in LA when on OT1 and the cops demanded to look in my briefcase, which had the OT1 materials in it. I opened it up, they lifted up the envelope with the platens, looked around in the case, put them down, said ok, and let me go about my business.

Her husband had just shot himself. I doubt many people would have been cool and rational in her position.

(Well, maybe wives who PREFERRED their husbands dead....)

So he shot the partner, then shot himself in a failed overt motivator sequence? Didn't he do a claydemo of R2-45 first and get checked out? Oh wait - he used a 9mm glock. Wrong gun. Prolly steel jacket ammo - didn't mushroom.

Joking aside, when did he realize he screwed up, after shooting his partner?

I know there's a lot of stress doing OT7, I went through it myself, and though you're supposed to fly rudes daily before each session, he still was that pissed he had to pop the guy? It's stressful enough that you are hounded to do 6 sessions a day, do your job, keep stuff secure, stay sessionable, and his donating $200 or $250 K to Scientology and being berated for giving them that much coin and risking the destruction of the company and the employees jobs - was that enough to push him over the edge?

Amazing it went so far south. Wow.

From a Scientology technical viewpoint, Rex Fowler had become so PTS to Darth Midget and his Sea Ogres, that he went completely Type III. He was so completely PTS that he couldn't even murder his own body ("suicide") properly with a firearm perfectly suitable for the purpose.

If I understand the reports correctly, all he did to himself was administer a prefontal lobotomy. One has to destroy the brain stem to guarantee near instant body death.

You guys are creeping me out talking about a suicide like that. And that's quite an achievement.
