Scientology doesn't basically believe in kids at all; there's no concept of developmental psychology in the cult whatsoever. As Lotus says, they're just thetans in small bodies in the cult's view.

That's why you got people like Sheila at 16 looking after 30 Sea Org infants and toddlers despite the fact she'd had virtually no training in looking after children, or St Hill at one time appointing a 14 year old boy as their Ethics Officer.

While I don't agree about marriage at 14, I do think more should be getting married in their early 20's, late 20's at the latest. Too many who delay past 30 wind up childless. (For the record, my wife and I married in our 20's. I have 3 kids and 3 grandchildren (so far)).

Kids shall go to school to become competent and then get a good job and pay, to raise a family, if this is their wish. It is not to a cult leader, neither to the priest or pastor to decide when is the good time.
Also, as I live Literally AMONG them, I know well their culture, depending where they were born and how the religion is having a grip on them. Those I am talking about, as I mentioned specifically, are the orthodox Islamist’s ; I don’t consider all Muslims to be in this category. It’s like Christian’s and orthodox evangelical Christians. I am a Christian but do not abide with the rules and culture of evanlegical Christians.

What you said is what we all want, but it won't happened anymore. And the reality is the demographic predictions are catastrophic, and whether we like it or not, those migrant are , in the actual reality, the people who makes our societies keep on going with their non sense more consuming based way of living.


IMO this all changed when women left home to go to work. You may reply about the feminist..but let me tell you that many women would prefer to stay home , raise kid and work part time but hubby do not want that..because they have a mortgage, a big Dodge Ram loan, to pay. Many women are exhausted and close the baby store after they had one kid, because after all, they often still get all the household and kid raising tasks.
Regarding migrant this is a generality.
Actually, unless you have a farmer friend neighbor, chances are that same me of the fruits you eat are grown from either California or Florida by Mexican and South American hard workers who are called rapists and the garbage of Mexico.

Even if you don't like it, you depend upon them because your people, as our people, won’t do this hard work , long hours for a slave pay…

That is true for many.

For us, we decided that wife would stay home and raise (and home-school) the kids and our lifestyle would be determined by my income. I don't drive a Mercedes, but I have three kids and three grandkids. It's all about choosing what your priorities will be.

There are some who are hard workers. And there are some who are living in the cities on welfare and involved in crime and drug gangs. The ones in the second category we can do without.

Even the ones in the first category may find themselves out of jobs soon, as agricultural robots are getting better and cheaper, and more fast-food places increasingly automate.

This is why I said that we really need more smart and educated workers.

I guess this discussion really doesn't belong here....but anyway:

I believe IQ is part of the problem of illegals....

I have read that Arab IQ is low due to intermarriage with Cousins being quite prevalent..... ( don't have a link for this at hand) Perhaps also intermarriage in Tribes...?

Other shocking data is how low Central American IQ is.....

Check the list at the bottom of this page.... Guatemala clocks in with an average IQ of 47! Nicaragua at 52! They are going to be taken advantage of.... But on the bright side...in a Country like America, there is going to be some protection at work....and still some chance to advance their position...

I recall back when Nixon was President it was a stink when it was discovered he had an illegal working at the West Coast White House....

I don't have problems with migrants. My parents immigrated (legally) to the US. I didn't really learn English until I started school.

also, look at how that map of national IQ correlates strongly with literacy rates; people who haven't had much education and who may not be able to read a common language well if at all (many places, people primarily speak one of the less known of the world's estimated 7 thousand languages), aren't going to do well on IQ tests:

Yes....certainly some highly qualified people immigrate from India.....legally.

I spent a few days in Bombay ( Mumbai now ) back in 1968.....The MASS of humanity living on the sidewalks and greenways....was shocking. Those that didn't get up in the morning were dead.... The amount of beggars was frightening....swarms that would cover a car....
But a lot of that is baked into their Cast System....and of course are very poor. Not "American Poor".....but something much worse.

Sure....on the Bell Curve....I'd imagine any Country would have very smart people.... That is not the point I am making....

India has almost 1.5 billion people..... I don't see how we could take many of them...

200 to 250 THOUSAND people a month are coming illegally across the Southern US Border now! IMO that is just crazy and treason to allow it to happen. I live in a "small city" of 250 thousand. I can't imagine that many illegals coming in each month....it is a catastrophe!

Or we are getting the smart ones.

A large percentage (most?) of Indian immigrants are coming over on H1B visas as tech workers, or on student visas. We are not getting the illiterate peasants and street beggars.

Decades ago, people were talking about the "Brain Drain", where the smart people of the world were all trying to get to the US. Some were upset that this was damaging the countries they were coming from, who were losing their smartest people.

A great deal of that is a type of desert....

There are actually small towns underground.....if I remember correctly.....

Then, there is the problem of supplying enough water....

Part of it may be genetics, part culture.

When you bring up kids, you are implanting a culture into them. What is culture? At its core, it is a set of beliefs and attitudes about life and the world. Culture contains attitudes about various human qualities and whether they are to be valued, or treated with contempt. You can see the essence of a culture in how the culture describes what the "ideal man" and "ideal woman" should be like.

Hubbard's Scientology culture, to get back to the original topic, held that the greatest good was the advancement of Scientology, and that it was proper to lie, cheat, and intimidate in order to do so. The ideal person was someone who dedicated 100% to Scientology, to the exclusion of personal life, having a family, having friends, or having any loyalty to anyone but LRH.

Hubbard held in contempt any academic learning other than leaning "the tech". When a child is implanted with that culture, he may have difficulties in the real world.

Ghetto culture contains contempt for academic learning, plus admiration for successful thuggery. The ideal man is someone who "doesn't take any shit" and responds with violence to any hint of "being disrespected". To do otherwise is to be weak and contemptible. Someone who embraces ghetto culture will not do well in Western civilization.

Conversely, Jewish and East Asian cultures admire the scholar, and have contempt for the thug. They tend to do well.

On the subject of genetics versus nurture, there was, some years ago, a study called the "Minnesota Transracial Adoption Study", where black children who were adopted as babies into white middle-class families were given IQ tests at 17. The average black IQ is 85. After being brought up in middle class affluent white families, and going to middle class schools all their lives, the children of two black biological parents averaged IQ 89.
