Clearwater’s New City Manager is Bad News for Scientology

That was a "different level" analysis of the candidates for City Manager. Outstanding recap, Aaron!

Aaron Smith-Levin is multiple echelons above the folks that have been running Clearwater for the past four decades, in terms of understanding Scientology's stranglehold and designs on the city's downtown district.

His understanding of the cult's utter disdain for the city of Clearwater and its citizens—and its monomaniacal obsession with Scientology's own self-serving agenda would be analogous to the following:

IMAGINE IF ALL CITY MANAGERS AND COUNCIL MEMBERS WERE NOT TRYING
TO RUN A CITY, BUT INSTEAD WERE MANAGING A HOSPITAL. FURTHER, IMAGINE
THEY WERE ALL SCIENTOLOGY OTS. THEN ONE DAY SOMEONE SUFFERING FROM
LUNG CANCER ARRIVES AT THE HOSPITAL FOR DIAGNOSTICS AND TREATMENT.
NATURALLY THE PATIENT WOULD BE TOLD NOT TO WORRY AND THEN SENT HOME
WITH A "PRESCRIPTION" TO START SMOKING 3-5 PACKS OF CIGARETTES A DAY.
BUT THEN THE LONE NON SCIENTOLOGIST WORKING AT THE HOSPITAL (WHO
IS A BOARD CERTIFIED DOCTOR AND ONCOLOGIST) SPEAKS UP AND TELLS
THE PATIENT NOT TO LISTEN TO ALL THE SCIENTOLOGY "EXPERTS" AND
"AUTHORITIES"--AND TO NEVER TRUST ANYTHING THEY REPRESENT
OR PROMISE. THE ONCOLOGIST IN THIS SCENARIO IS AARON.
