Just saw this recent post on a local East Grinstead FB group.

I didn't have a lot of interactions with Doug, but he seemed like an OK bloke to me, more human than the majority of staff at St Hill.

Not sure if he was still in the Sea Org and I wonder if they will commemorate his life and contribution at St Hill?

I always feel a sadness for those that did not wake up.

Even sadder for me are those who do wake up but then pretend to still be in so as not to endanger having their relationships severed with family, friends, business associates & clients. I believe that for the 20,000 approximately that appear to be still in that many of them are in this category but are trapped in a way due to the CoS disconnection policy.
