I doubt Davey has anything planned in the long term. He jsut wants to hang on long enough for himself to die of old age.

The IAS donation scam and the Ideal Org real estate scam very plainly telegraph that D.M. is planning on walking away with personal control of assets in the billions of U.S. dollars which (so far as I am aware) do not legally belong to any C of S corporation.

Well, in my opinion, the resemblance is only superficial. Because DM's "Provisional SP Declares" (as reported by several former International Management staff who received them) have an entirely different - (and utterly squirrel) - purpose and usage.

"Non-Enturbulation Orders" came from HCO PL 1 July 1965 Tech and Qual - Ethics Chits the relevant passage follows. This HCO PL was part of my hat as the SHSBC Course Administrator for ASHO Foundation.

Hubbard's version was to keep the Tech and Qual Divisions from being torn up by actual SP and PTS students and preclears.

David "Darth Midget" Miscavige's version existed as a nothing more than a cruel suppression of good, hardworking senior management staff. Everyone who got one of these was falsely accused of suppressing DM by Darth Midget himself.

The above HCO PL was one of the more frequently misapplied (I actually mean severely abused ) during the INT Command Team Ethics Mission into the WUS Sea Org Tech delivery orgs (1990s). That PL was actually applied in such a way as to thoroughly destroy tech delivery in those Orgs targeted.

Of course, that mission was a Darth Midget operation from top to bottom.

.

I noticed over the years that you very frequently quote LRH policy and/or cite when LRH policy was violated.

As if Scientologists and Hubbard and Miscavige actually honor, respect and follow LRH policy.

Scientology "policy" is Scientology mythology. It doesn't exist. Same as engrams and BTs, they don't exist either.

All those strange snickering sounds coming from behind the curtain are the folks above you on the "command channel" joking and degrading about lower level Scientologists who actually believe there is such a thing as Scientology policy. There isn't.

What there is, however, is pretend policies for those who need to believe in policies. It's very similar to Christian or Moslem church-goers who attend the weekly sermon by a holy priest who has talked to God and is now briefing everyone on what God wants you to do. The true believers in the pews get what they came for and go home feeling that there is order in universe.

BREAKING NEWS: Miscavige doesn't follow LRH policy. LRH didn't follow LRH policy. And, only Scientology's unsuspecting marks follow LRH policy. Sorry about the bad news.

The thing is, if DM dies tomorrow and some sort of council takes over... I think we would all agree things would likely get a bit better.

But would it really be all that better if some sort of "mormon-quorum-of-the-tvelve" style group takes over? The SO will still be a slave-driving sweatshop and the public will still get skinned for "a piece of blue sky".

Miscabbage was a product of his environment.

What says whoever is next in line won't just do a rinse and repeat?

It would probably get a bit better, but I'm not sure how much. In my opinion LRH policy makes psychopaths, and whoever takes over will have been molded by LRH policy for years. I know DM as the leader gets a lot of hate, deservedly so, but in my mind he's just applying LRH policy. After LRH and then DM running things I don't see that a council would ever take over, in my mind it would also violate KSW to have a group run things. I know people like to debate that DM is violating LRH and doing things off policy, I am not sure that he is. There are secret LRH orders and policies, and who knows what he was saying in his final days. I would not be surprised to learn that the real mandate given to DM/RTC is to make as much money as possible and then ensure the longevity of Scientology, or something along those lines. I don't think LRH actually cared about preserving the tech, making clears, making st. hill size orgs, etc. All he wanted was to amass wealth and power and then make sure he was remembered.

Whenever I read through threads like these I'm always reminded how crazy LRH management tech really is. If they just had some semblance of normality I'm sure they'd be doing way better. Thankfully LRH had no clue how to manage anything.

What about the watchdog committee? People can always fall back on that.

They can also "disperse" power. Have one girl be the president of the Church, another guy be the head of RTC, another guy be the head of SO, another girl be the Chairman of the Board, some other dude be head of CST, some girl be head of OSA, one be IC of Gold base, another IC of Flag base. And then they can all sit on the watchdog committee.

Back in the day I did a lot of "Hubbard-quote-mining" and bending organzational structures in ways that they still looked roughly SO-ish from a distance.

Give me the keys to the kingdom and in one week I can have a "Quorum of the Twelve" organized mormon style in a way that would be 100% KSW aligned and backed up by "The Word Of Hubbard (TM)".

There are secret LRH orders and policies, and who knows what he was saying in his final days.
If it is secret, then who cares? You just declare that nothing like that existed and have any paper documentation shredded and burned. Who's gonna call you out if it is all top secret?

Maybe I'm projecting my own views onto Davey, but I have a reason to believe his mindset is similar. We both were raised in scn, joined the SO as teens and we both advanced to "enforcement" positions. I really doubt his reverence for the tech was any greater than mine. If anything it was even less so.

Yeah, you could put together a council, I just don't think whoever is left would want to do that. And true, policy/KSW isn't a real stop ever, it's very easy for whoever is in charge to make up whatever they want and call it policy. Look at all the revisions that have happened.

If a council did take over, then yeah it would probably at least keep things a bit more reasonable. I just don't see a council taking power whenever DM moves on.

I have a feeling a council would eventually and ultimately turn into a snake pit as people compete for power,

I expect Miscavige to maintain an iron grip on the cult for another twenty years, and to choose his successor in a secret testament. Then the cult will start to decline slightly faster, to under 3,000 members by the year 2100. Most of those will be descendants of Third World immigrants who Miscavige brought in to man the Orgs.
No reason to believe the cult is capable of reform from within. The reason people joined is either because they were enslaved at an early age, or they want some higher authority to have all the answers.

What about Diversity and Equity? By 2100 they might have a High Priestess of Colour running the show with new fashion trends emerging and even new Sea Org uniforms.

There are many futuristic possibilities for scn in 2100. Here are a few. Any additions?

Computer language translators will allow all scientologists to converse with each other in their native languages. About a thousand scn specific words and terminology will need to be learned but that's no big deal. Bilingual conversations will be interspersed with words like "arc break" and "overts". The downside is that all the entheta about scn written and spoken in English will be available in all languages.

The steady upward trend to acknowledging and praising Status rather than Bridge Progress will continue and some people attesting to the highest OT levels will be regarded as Priests and Priestesses.

The CoS will finally admit that scn has nothing to do with science. The mystical exorcism of low conscious entities on the higher levels will be publicized in order maintain tax exempt status as a "Mystical Religion".

The Nation of Islam will have disconnected from the official CoS and proclaimed itself to be the one pure form of scn in accordance and alignment with the Will of Allah.

Several people claiming to be the reincarnation of L. Ron Hubbard will have been publicly discredited by the CoS.

Robes and headdress rather than militaristic garb will be worn and define rank within the Sea Org at public gatherings.

Bridge progress is status. You can't get high on the bridge without boatloads of money. Boatloads of money give status.

The CoS will finally admit that scn has nothing to do with science.
And change it's name to just "Tology"?

Are we in the "scientology predictions for 2023" thread already? ;)
