Oh that’s wonderful! :happydance:

Physical Therapy is not difficult to learn to do with others and it’s not as mysterious as practitioners make it out to be. It’s a good experience for both and only takes 1/2 hr to an hour a day. Terril shouldn’t wait. Muscle must be kept active, especially at his age. As an ex/FZer, he has quite an advantage because he can already focus well on body parts.

I’ve just worked 24 hours in two days, but I’m off tomorrow so will give my details to you and PM and email both you and Terril tomorrow and we’ll set up a time for online and video private chat. 😊
Many years ago, when no one knew me on the original exscn, only Terril and a few others believed in me and supported me with friendship and gave me the benefit of the doubt. I have never forgotten that. Terril is my friend and I’m happy to help!

Good night now. Details in the morning. Hugs!! 🤗
Despite what others thought of him and his proselytizing, I thought he was a pretty decent sort of guy, with a good heart.

Good to hear he is improving though.

Thx Fixer, I'll pass on your thoughts. Terril, never holds a grudge does he no matter how much you disagree on religion or politics? (Actually I think they are really the same thing). I'm sure he will be delighted at your comments.

Hi Nick,
Should be getting an update from his son today, I'll let you know.

JustSheila got Terril doing therapy exercises, bless her, cos the UK National Health Service takes 6 months!!!! to get people into therapy after stroke. How crazy is that?

You know you could visit him, maybe talk about old times and sort of help jog his memory. He lives in West London.

Wishing Terril all the best. Like many I appreciate his consistency and tenacity, hope the exercises help.

That has been a little difficult of late what with work, lockdown etc. Plus my own health is not all good. And now we are emerging from lockdown the wife has a long list of family visits on my agenda!! But I will pay it some thought...

Nick, I spoke to his son yesterday. His family make him do Sheila's therapy exercises every day, although some days he ridges and says 'leave me in peace'. Sounds like he's improving! Also, finally, in 2 weeks he will be evaluated by the Health Service and get registered for therapy.

I have passed on copies of every message of concern and encouragement I have gotten on this Forum as they have appeared, so Terril is aware of all the love and support that is flowing to him from all you guys, and I must say I'm quite touched by it all myself.

(Sheila - if you read this, again, thank you for all your great help!)

Update on Terril Park and a request for Information:

Terril is on a very slow path to recovery. He has therapy twice a week, but cannot walk.

My daughter and my son in law (who is in computers,) are going to gift Terril a PC so that he can hopefully start to communicate with his friends and associates again. In order to do this we must set up short cuts to the Chat Groups and Forums that Terril used to post to.

Could you help by letting me know the groups they should add as short cuts on Terril's PC plus tell us any other info you think we should know?

:)

I think Terril was a member of various Indie groups Stu ... I have no idea which ones though, sorry.

It shouldn't be too hard to find out though, perhaps contacting Roger Boswara would be a good starting point, I believe he checks here now and again and I think he would have the details you need.

Try sending him a private message here: Roger Boswara ... use the " start conversation" button.

:)
