Yes he was in Newcastle. Was Paul still living in north-east England when he passed away?
The gizmo you refer to sounds like "the zapper" which Paul constructed based on Huilda Clark's specifications in her book "The Cure of All Diseases", It was a just a 9 volt battery connected with wires and alligator clips to two cans . There was a resister (or something, I am not an electrician) that caused the battery to alternate charging first one can and then the other, hundreds of time per second. This alternating current was supposed to kill all the parasites in your body, which per Huilda Clark was the underlying cause of all human ailments. Paul made one and encouraged me to "try the cure", so I did. This was around 2002 when Paul was still in California. It did not cure me of all my ailments, but then again, I didn't expect it to. You can see a video of the zapper atPaul was a squirrel supreme! (ref his robot auditor)
Last time we saw him he had a gizmo to make one feel better and gave each of us a turn on it. We each dutifully held onto the gizmo while he explained how it works if used regularly.
When I was in the ballroom I recall that Paul was in the corner and to his right was Brian Andrews then me, then Mark Gardener. Opposite me was John Cox . Down the other end was Dave Skull, Alf Wilson, Bennie DaCosta and David Flood plus others. I think that you and Ewan moved to another room which you had to yourselves and could play your loud music. I was glad when we moved to Bullards. Had a nice room there with Carl Holling, Chris Barnes and one other person. But we had to move out to make room for a married couple from the G.O. I ended up sleeping in a garage. That was the last straw for me. I left a week later.Yes, Solo, you've reminded me of Friday nights at Stonelands Galley. A lot of my favourite times at SH. Quite a few of us used to jam on guitars, though I don't remember Paul doing so. However he did teach me how to play GO, one of the most sophisticated games I learned. I think he even taught me to play 3-dimensional noughts and crosses. Even got me considering joining MENSA! Always very late getting to bed in the early hours of Saturday. The memories are flooding back now. Paul was in one of the bunk beds in the corner, I was in a single bed next to it, nobiody above my head. Man, we're all dying now! I hope you're well, at least better than me. It was Paul's presence on ESMB that really made me feel at home. This is the saddest news I've had for ages. What a great guy.
Former scientology staff maybe? What did Paul have wrong with his body to die like that ?.
I am not speculating I'm just curious . Why such a big secret ?. Everyone dies sometime it's not a crime.Lets not speculate on a friends health. It's his and his near ones business. If they'd want to share we'd probably know.
In the SO it sometime is.Everyone dies sometime it's not a crime.
Oh really ?. He wasn't in the S.O at the time though. In the SO it sometime is.
There was a technical expert who died 1 month before Rons bday celebration. Whenever people spoke about it, it was always in the general sentiment of "Omg, he left us with so much unfinished work. How dare he die on us like that!?"
He's been out for a long time.Oh really ?. He wasn't in the S.O at the time though.
See post #56.What did Paul have wrong with his body to die like that ?.
You are joking ?. It doesn't what he died of.See post #56.
