How should we judge the rejection Scientology received in the heartland this week?

Whew. We haven’t had a moment’s rest, but we didn’t want to overlook some other stories that unfolded this week, including an odd situation with the new Scientology Ideal Org in Kansas City.

You probably saw the news item, that the people of Kansas City, Kansas rejected Scientology’s attempt to turn an empty office building into a dormitory for the workers at its Kansas City, Missouri Ideal Org, which opened its doors on November 2. Local residents spoke out in opposition to Scientologists moving into the building, which was in a residential neighborhood, and the plan was rejected.

And we could see that former Scientologists were perplexed by the plan to open a dormitory. What did it mean? Was the KC Ideal Org going to become a Sea Org operation, and cheap housing was needed for the Sea Org workers, who make almost no money as they toil 365 days a year?

Whatttttttttt?

Scientology was REJECTED by wogs?!

No, no, no, no, no, no---that cannot be true. That is simply not possible.

Because Scientology's infallible C-suite leaders (Commodore/COB) have assured us that mankind absolutely LOVES Scientology!

This black PR must be an attack by SPs who are always spreading vicious rumors that our religion is run by a bunch of criminal terrorist thugs.

Our church should handle these evil attacks by finding out WHO is spreading such terrible lies and then sending our volunteer ministers to bankrupt them and then kill their pets.

The killing of pets, dogs, cats of their critics etc. is one of the darkest, most deranged actions as a *CHERCH*

I posted this previously on ESMB

I recall meeting Stacy Young for the first time in the late 1970s.
She was a well loved Interne Supervisor at AOLA.
I liked her immediately. Stacey rose up fast to be posted at Author Services
where she was in direct contact with Miscavige and witnessed the temper tantrums, the beginnings of the sadism, beatings, punchings, and very high misconduct.
I connected with Stacy in a special way in the early 80s because we were both in the RPF in Los Angeles. She was the I/C of the entire RPF, and I was the MAA ! (RPF Ethics officer).
(I was only there with Stacy 3 months before I was yanked out and my RPF assignment cancelled.)
I heard soon after that she and Vaughn had blown. While I am not fully apprised of all Stacy did is testifying against the Church, I feel that Stacy was ahead of her time. She was brave and courageous. A lone ranger.
Nowadays you can snap your fingers and have 140 ex-sea org willing to talk to media/testify/talk with law enforcement.
It wasn't like that when Stacy stood up to whistle blow.
Because the Church has the attitude and strong internal feeling that it has NEVER EVER done anything WRONG , it is FLAWLESS, it is SUPREME in its GOODNESS and RIGHTNESS, daring to state you want to depart is HIGH TREASON and ENEMY.
Only a psycho, it is argued would want to leave such a worker's PARADISE !
When I first heard the term "Worker's Paradise" in relation to INT Base ~~ I thought it was satire from Anonymous ! No, I was wrong, C of $ actually called INT BASE ~~ their "One flew over the Cuckoo's NEST" insane asylum of beatings, lock down, seances, non stop demands for CRIMES....the C of S called it a WORKER's PARADISE in a defense video to CNN"s series "A History of Violence"
There is no accounting for such hallucination and delusion.
It always boggles the mind.
So when Stacy and Vaughn Young blew, after suffering their own atrocities within the Church, and having had enough of ATTACK from within, the Church could not conceive that the earlier beginning was their own viciousness on Stacy.
They had MADE and CREATED the enemy Stacy has now become.
Now that Stacy was testifying publicly, appearing on 60 minutes and Dateline, the Church went into full bore malicious FAIR GAME.
Stacy was speaking out !
So I was incensed and appalled to read what the "Church" did to attack Stacy's Animal Rescue.
++++++Stacy received drop-off stray dogs and cats and fostered them til she found homes for them. It really was pure charity work the only one of its kind in her neck of the woods. (West Seattle)

+++++Anonymous phone calls (OSA stock-in-trade) were made maliciously to her landlord that her cats were disease spreading felines.
+++++the whole neighborhood had been leafleted with a 15-page smear about Stacy and Vaughn handed out door to door with character assassination and a tissue of lies.
+++++A anonymous death threat on these orphaned animals was then placed on their doorstep.
+++++Then it escalated to calling Animal control to raid the house, in order to confiscate and euthanize the animals.
All her beloved cats got euthanized.

Scientology cult has had a history of killing pets because they are loved ones of the target they are pursuing.

Please note, the Kansas City Planning Commission did not deny this special use permit request on the basis that it was the Church of Scientology making it. That would be a First Amendment violation and give the Co$ considerable ammunition for a Civil Rights lawsuit.

The reason it was denied is the same reason they would deny it for any other group: overcrowded living conditions - especially during the bloody Pandemic.

Edit Addendum:
When I was young, I spent some years living at a Church of Christ sponsored children's home (Hillview Acres) in Chino, CA. There were six "cottages" segregated by age group and gender, a multi-purpose dining room and institutional kitchen, a 140 acre farm with a feedlot and a huge hay barn for cattle, a huge kitchen garden, fruit trees, a baseball diamond, etc. etc.

Our rooms were two person with nice single beds and built-in desks plus dresser setups. Each cottage had a big common room and its own kitchen, and a room for the house-parents who were always a married couple. Just huge accommodations for 14 kids max per cottage.

Sea Ogres would have crammed 8 people into each of our rooms.

ISNOINews

Independent Scientology and Nation of Islam news
Yesterday, Tony Ortega posted a story about the proposed dormitory for staff at the Church of Scientology of Kansas City.

Today, Nation of Islam.Minister Minister Tony Muhammad posted that the Peace Rides have started in Kansas City.

The Peace Rides are sponsored, organized and produced by United in Peace (UIP). UIP is a front-group of both the Nation of Islam and The Way to Happiness (TWTH). TWTH is a front-group for the Church of Scientology. Thus, I have characterized UIP as a front-group of a front-group.

Having said all of that, in recent months, perhaps up to a year or more, the Peace Rides have largely stopped using TWTH branding online and in event photos. Nonetheless, the UIP website continues to offer TWTH booklets on their Peace Materials page, along with The Million Man Match Pledge.

Also, in his story about the COS recruitment event starring Minister Tony Muhammad and skateboarder Aaron Kyro, Tony Ortega reported that Minister Tony Muhammad said Ideal Orgs provide a safe base of operations and their staffs provide the supplies for the efforts by him, UIP and the NOI.

Tony Ortega also recently reported that in her book Joy Villa said UIP is a charity that she supports.

ETA: In the interest of documentation, the United in Peace Foundation "The Way To Happiness" booklet as featured on the UIP website:

Regardless of why it was shot down, rejected and denied, we are winning when Scientology is told NO.

Never underestimate the powerful WINNING of us SP's when Scientology is told NO.

A fake group doing fake shit that does nothing for anyone.

meanwhile.....

A black, BLM guy gets a heavy box/carton of the Way To Happiness booklets from a Black Volunteer Minister / NOI Scientologist, who is also a member of BLM.
VM loves his Rizza Islam.
He really hates whites and Jews covertly.

The BLM takes the carton of WTH booklets and drops the box from the top of a bridge hopefully on a bunch of privileged white Jews.
Hits a car and causes a horrible accident. People die.
Nothing is investigated cuz Corupticans are defunding the police. So no cops.

Later that night, BLM sees the Scientologist / VM / NOI guy at a protest march and thanks him for the WTH booklets and shares his wins on how those booklets helped him express his constitutional rights.

VM asks if he would like to write up a success story.

To answer the original question: Anytime anyone anywhere rejects $cientology is a good thing. By that I mean the Miscavige IRS corporate cherch scam. If people want to mess around with it in those others places, Dror, Great Plains, etc. Knock yerself out!

My guess is that they will put org staff into increasingly SO-like conditions, without necessarily having them be SO.

For a regular org staff member who has his own apartment ( and necessarily has to work a regular "wog" job in order to pay for rent and food), it's easy to "blow": you just stop showing up.

For somebody who lives in Scientology berthing, it's much harder. You have to secretly move out, and the place is under surveillance. Once you move out, then what? You have no renting history for new prospective landlords to check. If they call the org berthing for a reference, the prospective landlord will be told that you were kicked out for various offenses. What do you do?

I'm also going to guess that Scientology will increasingly rely on foreign workers, who can't leave without being treated as illegal aliens.
