Before our modern age of science fiction:

If we could go back, say, 1000 years ago and get a PC on an e-meter (for OTIII) they would be talking about incidents that occured with the gods on Mount Olympus (not Xenu). The PC would then get cog, VGIs, F/N and go to the examiner in Qual. The Qual examiner sees an F/N.

That's my 2 cents opinion.

It is fascinating listening to him making things up as he goes along. I don't understand his odd way of speaking though, as if he's pretending to be someone else. It would be interesting to have a good Psychiatrist listen to it and analyse what is going on there.

Yes, whenever I've listened to this particular talk it has always seemed to me like he IS making this shit up as he goes along. It's just the sheer contempt he has for his listeners that I find so remarkable. 'I'll just spin this yarn and these pathetic individuals will buy every single word of it'.

I have often wondered if Hubbard sincerely believed in some of this science fiction as TECHNOLOGY.
Painfully and ardously, each attached spirit (Body Thetan) has to be run through the sequence of capture, packaging in glycol, transported to earth, caught up in electronic ribbon and blown up by the volcanes, them implanted for 36 days with the picture sequences, short name for all of this is R6 implant or simply *R6* and then the spirit leaves or departs (On needs to be run on the earlier implant "Incident 1"

There are supposedly hundreds of thousands even millions of these attached spirits. Clients are coerced in doing 4=5 sessions a day. Some are on it for months, years.

BUT there are those who open up and look at the materials and depart all of Scientology. Paul Haggis told what happened when he first saw the OT 3 materials here ~~ (Two time Academy Award Winner for Best Picture.)

I am very sure that I was the first one that ever did live through any attempt to attain that material.” The O.T. III candidate is expected to free himself from being overwhelmed by the disembodied, emotionally wounded spirits that have been implanted inside his body. Bruce Hines, a former high-level Scientology auditor who is now a research physicist at the University of Colorado, explained to me, “Most of the upper levels are involved in exorcising these spirits.”

“The process of induction is so long and slow that you really do convince yourself of the truth of some of these things that don’t make sense,” Haggis told me. Although he refused to specify the contents of O.T. materials, on the ground that it offended Scientologists, he said, “If they’d sprung this stuff on me when I first walked in the door, I just would have laughed and left right away.” But by the time Haggis approached the O.T. Carrying an empty, locked briefcase, Haggis went to the Advanced Organization building in Los Angeles, where the material was held. A supervisor then handed him a folder, which Haggis put in the briefcase. He entered a study room, where he finally got to examine the secret document—a couple of pages, in Hubbard’s bold scrawl. After a few minutes, he returned to the supervisor.

“I don’t understand,” Haggis said.

“Do you know the words?” the supervisor asked.

“I know the words, I just don’t understand.”

“Go back and read it again,” the supervisor suggested.

“No,” the supervisor responded. “It is what it is. Do the actions that are required.”

Scientologists who are exposed to the lies of OT III - the infamous Wall of Fire are invested so heavily, they force themselves to believe.
All belief is - is a thought you keep thinking over and over. This is not science as L Ron Hubbard promised. He made it all up.

I've noticed a pattern, that his lies are usually based on a truth. Like there was such a thing as a DC-8. Certainly anyone that had knowledge of aircraft at that time would know of it. Like I wonder how long before he came up with this shit did he fly one? Had there recently been a volcano active that would have been on the news? Two famous islands, or chains of islands actually. Why not Tristan de Cuenho, or whatever. It was something in his experience. See what I mean?

For me, one of the most important truths about OT 3 is that it is a really a classic form of exorcism. It is the assignment of all that is negative or unwanted to something or some things other than "self," and then getting rid of that thing or those things. It is a form of ritual purification. It is exorcism with an e-meter.

Hubbard's biggest mistake was the he felt the need to come up with an origin story, a grand myth to explain the existence of body thetans. To a large extent it is that story that draws laughter and derision. OT 3 would be much more immune from criticism, and would be perceived as much more akin to historical religions, had he simply omitted the story and postulated the existence of body thetans (perhaps calling them something else) without explanation.

One of the core and basic beliefs of Scientology, is its fore-runner Dianetics.

THE CREATION OF DIANETICS IS A MILESTONE FOR MAN COMPARABLE TO HIS DISCOVERY OF FIRE AND SUPERIOR TO HIS INVENTION OF THE WHEEL AND THE ARCH.

I believe Hubbard did BELIEVE this. On the Apollo, Ken Urquhart his personal Communicator was not always willing to implement every whim and fancy as ordered by Hubbard so his solution was to get youngsters, teenage children with clean slates who would OBEY and run around the ship IMMEDIATELY following every instruct.

One such messenger was Rachael Donahue. Poor child, a 2nd generation thrown into the messenger game but she was somewhat SLOW for Hubbard. He wanted high speed understanding and high speed compliance.

After Rachel was not up to standard on a couple of "message runs" Hubbard announced that he had the WHY.
if a messneger was not adroit enough, they HAD to have had a DRUG history. Heavy druggies in the past.
DIANETICS solved that. Dianetics solved Drug engrams.
Rachel, was only a 13 year old when she `was in training to be a Hubbard messenger, she was not "Fast" enough for Hubbard,
But the problem was, Rachel was 2nd gen, a drugless girl who hadn't even had medication.
One day, Hubbard GOT IT ! He brightened up. Her mother took LSD while she was pregnant.
Rachel was a past life druggie !!
Poor Rachel was escorted to sessions to run her past life drugs which went on for weeks. I was told some 150 hours.
It was a Hubbard order and obeyed to the letter.
Rachel emerged now terrified of making a mistake.

And because there are some Brits in the group, I have to add this from Brit Martin Padfield .
Rachel got posted as the CO CMO UK in 1982 when I joined, at St Mary's College Rottingdean. Ron Hopkins was CO UK, Andy Hutton - still an OSA pawn to this day - was his sidekick as they went round the UK almost randomly dishing out SP declares. Anyway that's for another day. Rachel was lovely, somehow always kept a smile on her face. I didn't know till years later she was Louise Cronin's sister. I was Rachel's Course Sup in the CTO . If I remember correctly she also audited my Joburg sec check - a requirement on the EPF at that time. Next time I saw Rachel I was in the bus enroute to Int base having just completed Int Clearance sec checks at PAC. She looked a lot older and tired and the sparkly light in her eyes had dimmed somewhat. It was a taste of things to come for me.
