Miscavige lost his mind: He took registrars off post.

I just heard this via Aaaron Smith Levin.

Because the reg strategy has flopped, Dave took registrars off post. Stats will predictably crash. Supposedly wages at flag are also down as a result.

I'm waiting for more news. This is mad. Dave appears to have finally flipped. :clapping:

Any ideas or theories on what Davey's strategy is here? Or is he just unhinged?

He can't be that retarded? Can this be confirmed somehow? Do you mean all regges or just some?

He has been unhinged for a long time. The high priced lawyers keep Scientology going. They protect him.

Well, I'd love to be able to tell more but at this point that's all I know. I heard this from Aaron and he kind of mentioned it as a passing remark.
Here is the link to the specific timestamp where they talk about it:

I think it is some temporary measure, but it is still unhinged. I don't want to jinx it, but if the ball gets rolling and enough talented regges leave, then this can become a flap on the scale of the mission holder's conference.

Either a way it is a footbullet. The move alone undercuts funds at this critical time in the pandemic. But if Dave reverses course, this will make him look weak and bad as a leader. Also it might give the impression that the registrars end up making him do stuff and not the other way around.

I think he painted himself into a corner, regardless what he does it will have one negative effect or the other. Even if he recalled them, they still lost money and he still lost at least a bit of popular support and control inside the church.

If I ever wrote anything even slightly positive about Dave's intellect, like him not being a total moron... I TAKE IT ALL BACK, HE APPEARS TO BE JUST THAT! :clapping:

It is amazing irony. Dave being whacked by his own vile schemes of credit card shenanigans and abuse of the elderly. This made my day, I guess I am now experiencing the apostate's delight at watching my old ship take on water. :D

It is probably a ruse to make people believe Scientology does not regge anymore. Sort of like "L Ron Hubbard cancelled fair game" when they did not . They just hid it with the clever tech Ron came up with so no one at the bottom of the pyramid knows what those at the top are really doing.

That is certainly possible. Thing is: People inside scientology were not (and they never thought they would be) affected by fair game. Most public scientologists knew little to nothing about fair game. So everyone involved was on board with the charade.

Regging is different. The public are aware of it and how it works. So by first going bonkers and putting reggess off post, and then going reverse gear Dave will affect his own followers. Because if anything, this will draw their attention to regging and make them question if it was being done correctly. This will draw their attention to all the letters where Hubbard said that you need to sell scientology, not make money through other means:
"don't engage in 'fund-raising' or 'selling postcards' or borrowing money. Just make more income with Scientology."
- "When buildings get important to us, for God's sake, some of you born revolutionists, will you please blow up central headquarters "

Oh and this is all happening during the "worldwide bullbait season". People now, more then ever, have the time to read, think browse the web... Really, Dave picked a very bad time to put people's attention on regging.

I knew nothing about the fair gaming Scientologists did and continue to do when I was in. I was so trusting that Scientology was the most ethical and honorable religion on the planet. Boy oh boy, was I wrong.

I saw the reg training at LA org, as I was a reg in training for a short while there. I not only was a part of that, and saw it, I was also a victim of it, and it prompted me to start my routing out. I have stories.

I think the biggest problem was that they were in the habit of getting ALL personal info from prospects, and then applying for charge cards for the prospects. The BEST charge cards for the situation. I saw people get credit that did not expect to get credit, then see the charges get maxxed out. I saw people call to get the credit who were coached to overstate their income. I had someone do things that were not approved by the prospect, but of course were greatest good.

I bet there were many prospects that complained and had to be handled. There were probably actionable acts done by regges. Too bad one couldn't gather a class action on this one.

Been there, done that, got the T-shirt. Kirk Steele, Tim Edwards, Ted Bragin, Lisa Starkey.

Well, I was with Ethics, so I knew better just how "ethical" people inside are - both the public and actual EOs. :hysterical:

Ah yes. "It is the greatest good for the greatest number of registrars."

Have you ever seen a REAL statistic for ALL countrys from 1950 to PT?

I've not seen one, as they are hiding the REAL data!

I bet the HIGHEST EVER was sometime in the seventies . . .
That's probably a good guess. There were probably 2 "peaks" - one in the late 70s/early 80s before the mission holder's conference. The other in the early 90s after the sucessfull ad campaigns and Tom Cruise publicity, but before the GAT and Ideal Org plans.
Oh and I mean in the US. Migth have been slightly different in Europe, but I doubt it,

I bet THAT was the REAL peak, but I doubt the second peak could ever ever touch that line from Start to to the late 70s . . . US might be a bit different to the rest of the world . . .

Having been around in the 1970's thru the 90's, I think you are correct. I did not see orgs, particularly org Academies, in the 90's being anywhere close to how they were when I first came in,

I remember Thurdering Ted and Kirk Steele. The Tedster hated me and left nasty messages on my vm. I recall he would blurb out really strange stuff to freak me out like "intergalitical space opera talk". I ran from that guy and hid. He was nuts.
Kirk Steele - He cried because I would not put money on account. He was a hot mess and I felt so bad for him but Hubbard said pity and sympathy was "low toned" and I was following orders from the Ole Man. I told him that too.
Besides, I did not like any services I received at ASHO or AOLA. It did not change my life at all and I hated the regging.
Flag was not the friendliest place on the planet either. Those regges were ruthless and criminal.

Flag was not the friendliest place on the planet either.
Flag in 1976 was the most OUT ETHICS & OUT TECH place - I ever visited.
Course Sup (Andy?) Murray did NOT know the difference between "LINECHARGE" (HEAVY & HARD & LOUD LAUGHTER - or TEARS) from a great WIN - and "GLEE" (embarassed giggling from not understanding)

Ethics were even deeply shocked from a BIG WIN on that perverted TR's Course at Flag.

Honest WIN's were not allowed to happen . . .

And THAT were the "actors" from the Volunteer Minister's handbook - which was the first FAKE I debunked as ANTI-Scientology - thus REAL Squirrel.
