I don't know where Tony O finds these tidbits from the Indies but they are priceless. I thought I'd collect them up here.

“I realize now what I am exhibiting with all my wins; unbelievable, incredible, so many wins in such a short time… are all happening for a specific reason. That reason is, I am exhibiting a complete and accurate alignment of my basic purpose. My basic purpose on the whole track is to communicate Ron’s discoveries. To explain what the tech does for a spirit in a way that is easy for anyone to understand.”

That's so sad, really. Here this guy is supposedly an immortal spiritual being who's been around for many trillions of years, and his basic purpose on the whole track is to communicate someone else's ideas. And that someone else is L. Ron Hubbard, master con man.

"Material things are yours for the asking. Men are your slaves. Elemental spirits are your slaves.
You are power among powers, light in the darkness, beauty in all.
...
Your psychology is advanced and true and wonderful. It hypnotizes people. It predicts their emotions, for you are their ruler."

“I want to talk about Mars and the implant operation going on there. I’ve audited this implant so it no longer affects me personally, but this to me seems to be of great importance in addressing (i.e. neutralizing) for others, especially in helping those beings newly arriving from elsewhere in the galaxy who get ensnared in that theta trap. Once a being has reached this solar system, it’s common to use other planets as navigation points and anchor points on the way to Earth.”

It's been a long time since I've read the Affirmations (or Admissions or whatever they're called). I still have the same reaction, "what a neurotic goofball."

I had no idea he leaned that way, was he full tilt?
Could just be a Corny COB thing...
Well, my opinion is that the affirmations are no more true than Hubbard's other writings. In them he is trying to appears as a super-OTO guy towing the Thelema line 100%. They read as the OTO version of "KSW", a sort of "Keep Thelema Working" text.

I wonder if he wrote some of that just to impress Parsons.

That's just my opinion. I see some people dismiss most of Hubbard's writings as self-aggrandizing bs, but yet they see the affirmations as some sort of collection of real Hubbardian views.

I think its all self-aggrandizing bs, including the affirmations.

“I have seen the dark energy and dark matter. I have seen the other side of this universe, my hearing ability was magnified just before this happened. A thetan is capable of doing anything and can exist in the absence of MEST or in the dark form of it or in between. I am not sure if dark is the right word to use, however, this is magical indeed. Thank you Master LRH for your return. I wish I can express my gratitude for you in all the world alphabets, master, as you are the alpha (α) and omega (Ω).”

Previously posted in another thread: Trump supporter who thinks Trump is LRH (from Tony O's site):

Oct 8: “Who thinks LRH is Donald Trump? I think Trump has come in and is derailing the new world order program, the program to ‘make happy slaves of us all’ that is mentioned in the truth revealed breifing. He said he would come back as a misunderstood politician to save the day. Trump is a big thetan like LRH was.”

Scientology's own attorney stated that they were Hubbard's writings, in court, in 1984.

These Affirmations were written after Jack Parsons. Parsons would never have seen them. They were private. The "lessons" really begin with Course 2 with "You are asleep," and are Hubbard's instructions to himself, to be played back to himself while he was asleep or drugged.

There's a duplicitous nature to the Affirmations. There may seem to be contradictions but, as with Scientology, the Affirmations are layered. Hubbard was training himself to be skillfully duplicitous.

"Your writing has a deep hypnotic effect on people and they are always pleased with what you write... Your psychology is advanced and true and wonderful. It hypnotizes people. It predicts their emotions, for you are their ruler."

According to L. Ron Hubbard Jr. there were earlier Affirmations, and Hubbard's use of sound recorders for auto suggestion preceded the 1940s.

Hubbard used sound recorders to cure writers block and discovered they could also be used for self-implanting.

I've tried to find a way to write also.
I can't type well at all, not fast enough to keep up when I get on a roll. Tried dictating to mp3 player's but they're all too complicated, to me anyway, and who wants to fart around with drop down menu's and scrolling, etc. But I want to be able to jack it into my laptop and the Dragon Naturally Speaking app. which types it out. Maybe a good old cassette player? But it has to be good enough fidelity for the app. to decipher it.

From what I heard Hubbard dictated to the Soundscriber and the "Evil Transcriptionist" :) typed it out.

You can download free subliminal affirmations programs. I had one on disk that I bought on eBay when I worked in County government before retiring, don't know what I did with the disk.
But it lets you edit each affirmation, adjust the frequency of when it will appear on your screen like "I am supremely healthy" every 5 seconds, every 7 seconds etc. Then it let's you adjust for how long the phrase will flash on your screen to where you can actually read it consciously or flash faster to where you cannot but somehow your subconscious can. Adjust text size, color & font etc. Here's a free download site for that: Best subliminal affirmations Free Download
I was tempted to load it on a back stabbing sociopathic coworkers computer and program it to hit him in the face all day with "I hate myself, as I should", "Life's just not worth living" etc. :roflmao:But the surveillance camera's would have picked me up.

Weren't they dated to 1946?

I'm not disputing its Hubbard's own writing btw. They represent a clearly OTO viewpoint with suggestion and power over things etc.
I'm not really sure if this is stuff Hubbard really believed at the time, or just wanted others to think he does.

It's what Hubbard wanted to make himself believe. That's why he was using it in self-hypnosis.

"By eliminating certain fears by hypnosis, curing my rheumatism and laying off hormones, I hope
to restore my former libido. I must! By hypnosis I must be convinced as follows:

(a) I can write. I need not think commercially about writing.
...
...
(w) That this hypnosis will not fade, but will increase in power as time advances."

Read them again.

These Affirmations were written after Hubbard's time in Pasadena with Parsons had ended. Hubbard was not in Pasadena for the entire year of 1946. Anyway, these are insignificant details.

Power, money, and lasting fame were always Hubbard's priority, going back to 1938. "I can make Napoleon look like a punk."

There's nothing in the Affirmations, or in Hubbard's private correspondence from the period, about making the world a better place.

Would "making the world a better place" be a big thing in the OTO? I'm not under that impression, but admittedly I'm not an ex-OTO cultist.

So assuming this is written just after Hubbard broke away from Parsons, would this mean he still believed in Thelema?

That's a curious way to look at it, as probably subconsciously I had assumed Hubbard was on top of the game and making a fool out of both Crowley and Parsons. But perhaps we are overestimating him? Maybe this would-be game maker in 1946... was actually just another cultie roped into Thelema and still believing in that cult's dogmas?

Could the "affirmations" be a product of Hubbard at a time when he did not yet develop a post-cult-self?

I've never before considered Hubbard as a ex-thelemite cult survivor. But perhaps we should? :questions:

Your conclusion that Hubbard's affirmations are not true has no foundation, just some random speculation. You might be confused about it but I see no reason anyone else needs to join you.

The Affirmations have nothing whatsoever to do with KSW. You are muddying the water.

On the opposite side of the spectrum, there are millions upon millions of words (policies, bulletins, et al) which very precisely demonstrate that Hubbard ACTED OUT IN REAL LIFE the things he actually believed in.

For all of the ACTIONS of Hubbard which precisely coincided with certain of his written policies/bulletins, one need not speculate as to whether he believed it or not. The proof is overwhelming. For example, when Hubbard wrote the Fair Game policy, he then proceeded to follow it with fanatical accuracy for decades thereafter all the way to his death in 1986.

The "AFFIRMATIONS" were also anchored in decades of Hubbard's life as Scientology's leader and in his own personal life.

There is nothing to be confused about here. Your odd view is quite reminiscent of your many posts that take the position that everyone needs to remain confused about whether Scientology tech works, unless scientists do scientific studies and tell us.

Contrarian theories might be nice for arcane academic publications--but they don't help the many people already overwhelmed and struggling with trying to understand Hubbard and his hoax. Matters concerning the con game known as Scientology are not as complex, confusing and unknowable as you portray.

Your efforts would be better spent to help YOURSELF understand the hoax better---rather than trying to convince others that they can't understand it either. Many have figured it out. If you are as confused as you want us to believe--work on it more and eventually YOU might not be so baffled & bamboozled.
